My lawyer has advised me that it is prudent to have model releases and proof of age docs for all content that I use. So when SoBeGirl posted his $5 a set offer I asked if docs were available and he replied:

I then spent several hours assessing each of his 200+ sets and chose 80. But prior to ordering the 80 sets I decided to buy 10 to check the quality. So I sent SoBeGirl $50 and he sent the download info. But then when I asked for the model docs he refused to send them. When I protested, he said that he would send them but he's decided to charge an extra $10 per set. So basically my $400 order is now going to cost $1,200! How fucked-up is that?

SoBeGirl, if you didn't want to provide model docs, you shouldn't have said that you would! And if you were planning to charge $10 per set for docs, you should have said that in advance! This is EXTREMELY unprofessional!

Yeah but he's BP4L that's just not possible considering AaronM is a member of the family and made such a huge deal out of content providers and he has a list.

Funny enough I asked him before I bought if I could get the model docs and he said it would cost extra so I evaluated whether or not it was worth it beforehand.

Pitty he didn't mention the charges to me :)

If the documents are in order and the contact details are removed then there is no reason to not send them. And as for charging more that sucks.

I spoke to a US attorney Lawrence G Walters at the Amsterdam show. He said the 2257 law will be tightened now that the Attorney General has been asked to show how many times they have used it.

It is always the lawyers shouting fire. It is bullshit. Does the guy who rents DVDs down the street have model Docs for all the DVDs and tapes he rents or sells? NO.

So there you go. Lawyers once again, getting everyone scared, jumping through hoops, telling webmasters that they are the ones who need to be custodian of record. Do you really know what the responsibities of custodian of records is? Who can legally be the custodian of records? Ask your lawyer that and he will probably go DUH?

Lawyers once again crying wolf so that they can justify their existence. I have all the docs in order and ready to go. But I am not giving them out wholesale like that. Webmasters do not have ownership rights to this content. They only have distribution rights. They are not the custodians of records, the producer is. And those docs are all that separates me from the guy or gal that buys this content.

I once had some clown put all my content in a plug in feed and he was trying to sell it to webmasters which is not allowed in any of my licenses. When I told them they did not have the rights to do this and they did not have proof that these models were of age they quickly shut down. IF they had the docs they would probably have told me to Go fuck myself.

I will tell you all the same thing I tell 100 percent of my customers. If you see any girls that look young please ask me for the docs for that set. I would be more than happy to send you those.

I asked you if I could get copies of the docs and you said that I could. Then after I placed the order you refused to send me the docs. I took my Macdonalds shit about 6 hours ago. The Big Mac floated, the fries and cheeseburger sunk like lead. I had to flush twice to clean out the toilet bowl. It wasn't a pretty scence, but I did enjoy the scents of the different food groups as they dropped out of my ass. Big Macs definitely have the best scent.

docs don't include model releases, they just contain the location and name of the custodian of records and the custodian's avowal that he/they have model releases on file and they attest the model is of age.

You're supposed to get that with EVERY content order.

I have the usage licenses which webmasters sign, get to me and I sign them too. This proves they even have the right to distribute. And I will even give the docs to any models that look "questionalbe". But I feel very uncomfortable giving away all docs just like that. I do not think that this will serve my copywrite on these products very well. And I understand what a custodian of records is and the webmaster by definition does not fit that mold. I know for a fact, that if I give out all the docs, it is just a matter of time till I get someone selling the content in one way or another and saying, "HEY you want to buy this stuff cheap? Yea, I even have proof that the models are over 18" It has already happened to me once. I am not going to let it happen again.

Maybe you guys need to have a meeting so that you can all get together on whether he is or isn't.

Personally like I said I spoke with him on ICQ about the model releases and I know that legally I don't have to have them as long as he does, however I understand some webmasters would like to see them for verification and just to feel reassured. I personally didn't pay more for the docs when I bought from him and I don't have them.

i can see SoBeGirl Video's point, but personally I would never get any piece of nude picture without being able to prove in a second the age of the models. A small research at YNOT newss archive will prove that we have seen in the past known content providers shooting and selling pics of underages models without their clients knowing it. I wouldn't risk it, I would just pass the offer.

In the event you are asked for proof, just show your license and it moves the responsibility to the seller, in this case its sobe.

Stashi I am not going to debate the law with you or anyone else. My lawyer said that I should have them. Therefore I ask every content provider if I can get releases and IDs. If the content producer does not want to provide them I do not place an order, it's as simple as that. Sobe said that he WOULD provide them, then after I placed an order he turned around and said he wanted to charge for them.

Now that's some good shit, it kind of implies that you buy from someone with security because you will get model releases like he didn't receive from that other guy. To top that off Sobe isn't even listed on Aarons list of content providers, although now that it's been mentioned I'm sure he will be added and listed as compliant right away. Just some interesting stuff I thought. I'm still in agreement that he doesn't have to provide the releases I just know that it would make many more webmasters comfortable about buying.

in 7 years of doing this, I've never had a content provider send me model releases and driver license pix. You only get those when you shoot the content yourself. I would never have considered asking for them either, because of all the weird fucker webmasters and the risk of actually giving them model names and addresses. If you didn't shoot the content, all you need is the standard docs, you don't need and you shouldn't be allowed to have the model's name or any personal info.

Allow me to clarify.....

Sobe is not an official part of the family and after this little stunt, they/he never will be.

Here is the scoop...


A few content providers were offered some publicity in exchange for services to the family. These same people were given temporary status as interns which is common during the review process to determine membership. In the case of these providers, their applications were pushed forward because there was a clear benefit to the family to do so.

At this point, Sobe has proven themself to be untrustworthy and their application has just been shit canned.

boneprone.....Do you remember the conversation we had about waiving the membership fees for those who can not afford it? Remember when I told you that these are the kind of people that are not good for the family in the first place?

You may be the godfather of the family but I control the books and a little free or discounted content is not worth the cost of having an assclown like this in the family. It's not like our budget is whiped out or anything.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I offer the docs for any model that looks questionable free of charge. On one hand you say that SoBe is correct then on the other you trash me. Make up your mind...
