MTACC Inc. (returned check) who is this
 
Hey everyone
I received a check from an affiliate on which I can't figure out who it's from they are using MTACC INC to send out checks. There was no information on the stub. The check was deposited and returned back to me "Account Closed" anyone else get the same thing?? :helpme

I think they are a check provider. Epayservice

Signbucks has a list of who uses them.

Both accounts at Bank OZK and Pacific Mercantile Bank are closed, within about 8 months of each other. They never replied to my voicemails. It's fair to say their reputation is toast. See the link in post #3 above for more details.

Unfortunately, (IMO) if AWE sent your money to ePayService and ePayService was the last one in possession of your money, it's gone.

I don't see anything about ePayService, my check says "Citi" in the "for" section.

Went to the bank and they refused to give me cash for the check because they could not verify the check's routing number.

Yes, we had changed bank details in Spring 2019 for paper checks in USA. This service is working as normal now. Those who had paid service changes to their banks got that money back from us.

blackmonsters, did you ever get your money from the bounced check or the bank fees from ePayService / Guerra Capital, INC / MTACC?
