Like I said in that thread:

I didn't archive it because I never shot her for any of my clients (only two clients wanted her and one had a stipulation that she'd have to shoot boy/girl). When a client asks for a shoot of a model I archive her photos and all legal docs onto DVD's that are stored in 2 different places.

But this girl never showed back up for her appointment. I never scanned or archived her release. Now I can't find it.

All she posed for was a "test" shoot. It was NON explicit. She took her clothes off... no spreading, nothing.

By the way, when a client purchases content from me, they receive a copy of all legal docs, both printed and on CD, for each model. That way they also have them for their own records.

Dumb bitch.. Why do models walk in assuming nobody is going to see them? Hellllllllo mcfly! What the fuck did she think the pictures were for? I'm not going to release them. Not even after the case is over. Believe me, it's tempting to post them all over the 'net... but I do have a little bit of class to prevent me from doing this. And as much as the girl angers me by filing this lawsuit I have to realize that she is just an 18 year old girl and probably has reasons for doing this that make sense to her.

Just because she's making a bad decision filing this suit doesn't mean I should make a bad decision and post her photos all over.

But if you must know, she wasn't a "hot" model by any means. That's why there were only 2 approvals for her from my clients.

I'm with you Olivier.. I had a model attempt to pull some of the "I didn't know the pics were going on the internet" shit, which is TOTALLY untrue. My policy is that the FIRST thing I do when I see a new model is tell her what the pics are for and let her know about the possibiility that someone she knows might see them. If she's not prepared for it.. she can leave. Her little bullshit crying game didn't last long though. If you don't want to suffer "consequences" don't get naked.. no matter how much you need the money. Get welfare instead. Cripes.

Even before we saw the girl, we told her on the phone that it's porn on the web. So they know what is going on. Then, we explain that the content is for Internet so everyone can have access to it. And we let the models decide if they think they can handle that. And they do! :thumbsup

I'm happy to say that we have no problems with our girls, because, at first, before meeting, they know that the work is gonna be porn on the web.

Well, you see, it seems a lot of girls walk in with the assumption they are going to be working with a pervert who just takes photos for his own masturbatory purposes. They seemingly don't listen too hard. I used to tell girls I was a "content provider" and since then have reverted to a more plain English "I sell my photos to other websites," but now and then I still get a girl who is surprised someone saw her picture somewhere and phones to ask how that could possibly happen.

Some girls are under the mistaken delusion that if they do only "exclusive content" for "private sites," this will magically keep their photos out of the public eye. I explain to them that the members of these private sites are downloading that content furiously and that some of these guys belong to photo-trading forums. All limiting her work to posing for exclusive content can accomplish is the mere postponing for a while of the photos appearing everywhere.

Also, some "exclusive" sites hawk that content day and day out in every TGP they can find. And there is no guarantee that once content has outlived its usefulness as exclusive photography it won't appear on a content site somewhere. Finally, policies change and websites change hands.

I even tell girls that their photos will not only never go away, but that they can count on the propagating and the quantity expanding all the time, because every day many more copies are being made than deleted.

It makes no money, whatever their motivation, they are risk takers at that moment and the excitement or money or whatever their motive is overrides their perception of the risk.

A good photographer NEVER minimizes the risk and even may try to throw a bit of a scare into a girl whose ideas are a bit too rosey about the risk of discovery.
