The Marin County Sheriff?s Office said that Williams was found unconscious Monday afternoon at about 12:00 p.m. inside his residence in unincorporated Tiburon.
An investigation into the cause, manner, and circumstances of the death is currently underway by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff?s Office, officials said.
Investigators said that Williams was last seen alive at his residence, where he resides with his wife, at approximately 10:00 pm on Sunday.
Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made.
A forensic examination is currently scheduled for August 12, 2014 with subsequent toxicology testing to be conducted.

I usually don't get sad about celebs especially when the commit suicide but I genuine love this guy. :-(

I don't blame him however, there comes a time in everyone's life where they make a choice about which is more important...quantity or quality. Clearly the balance was on the other side for him.

Not everyone rides this out until they are sitting in a nursing home shitting themselves...some take their destiny into their own hands and decide when the time to go has come -

I am a big fan of the movie What Dreams May Come. What a sad situation. People will say "what? He has it all" Depression is a real sickness that I don't think is treated seriously enough. Brain chemistry plays a big part in daily life if you have issues these are the consiquesnses.

His long speech by the pond in Good Will Hunting is one of my all-time favorite movie moments.

He was great in What Dreams May Come.
