Twistys even banned a guy who had been a member for 10 years straight and these are the ones that have contacted me. Im sure there are lots more

Its odd to me the things that people will overlook and then suddenly something like this becomes a breaking point

Manwin/MindGeek has terminated the entire legal department in Montreal. Some say it is because they lost to Jules Jordan others say it is because they are cost cutting, I would expect it is the later. I reported a while back that Manwin would be redoubling its efforts on tube sites and every other business would be cut, and that is certainly happening.

Because I didnt care really I went on the word of my sources who said they lost I still dont care actually and wtf does that have to do with twistys anyway?

What else is going on there. After reading your post it sounds like they changed how they do the voting/choosing for the treat of the year. That can't be the only reason people are quitting and members are pissed and leaving the site.

Shap didn't still have control on the Twistys forum, he had a username where he could post, the same username he had since 2007 when the forum opened. I believe his mod privledges were revoked but he could still stop by once in a while, which he did, and post or interact with the models and members. They deleted THAT profile Friday night.

Running it differently is no big deal I guess, it's just business though certainly not fair to the models & members. I ran Twistys and can guarantee without any doubt that Vanessa Veracruz finished in the top 2 of the member voting totals!


Re Vanessa having sour grapes? No she is pissed and should be. Twistys was known to be the only site that still ran an honest yearly competition. Penthouse chooses their Pet of the Year but at Twistys the members got to vote for their favorite and she would be crowned. She worked Very hard to push Twistys promoting herself on the members forum becoming a fan favorite in there and on Twitter daily, several times daily praising Twistys so yea she's pissed and for good reason.

Didnt they buy Shaps properties for his tubes not really for his paysite? I mean they have a site just like it babes.com. It seems from past history when a company buys lots of properties, they all start going down the shitter after a while.

So the Manwin/MindGeek legal department was fired because they could not put offline the Mike South site :)

Wait wait wait.........Vanessa Vericruz allegedly won the vote??!!!!!! I am a huge fan of latina models but she is below average. She has ghetto tats, horrible bolt on boobs, and needs a nose job. I agree with what Mindgeek did here. Nicole Aniston is a way way better choice and a year from now nobody will give a fuck.

To be fair Rob, FreeOnes runs a very honest contest as well. But I get what you mean by Paysite titles, like Playmate, Penthouse, Hustler Honey, Twistys Treat, etc.

The more surprising thing to me is how quickly this has snowballed on Twitter. Several well-known models calling for a boycott, and their fans who are members actually cancelling and showing screenshots of their cancellation. I honestly didn't think they'd get it to snowball to that level. It'll be interesting to see just what affect it has, if any, on content production as Twistys does hire models for shoots regularly. One would think that some will take the paycheck regardless.

From a business perspective I would have never booked Vanessa in the first place. If you want a hot latina model just look over what Pacino posts as they are way hotter. Also from a business perspective the honorable thing to do would be to give the winner of the popular vote the top prize.

If I had fucked up and let it get to the point where the model who won the popular vote was Vanessa I would have done the same thing and overruled the vote and just taken the black eyes.

For those that don't understand Twistys (it's ok I didn't fully until I worked there) the runner up is more a reward for pushing Twistys, a thank you per say and in the past we've sent the runner up on the Treat of the Year shooting in order to have 3 girls to work the various girl/girl combos over 4 days of shooting. That's all. Runner up doesn't get money, a special trailer, featured on the tour or in the members area or a Twistys necklace.
