2.95 trial signups
Hey, I am just curious, I'v noticed alot of paysites offer 2.95 for 3 day and 1 day trial signups and then they go to a recurring monthly payment of whatever, how effective is this? Do many of the customers who signup cancel within the 3 days or do they forget or what?
Basicly I am interested in what the advantaged are in making trial signups |
20-40% will stay past trial, then like 40-50% will stay each month. Those of course vary by how good the site is. Some people like trials, some don't. See what works best for you, it really matters how the site is promoted and what types of traffic are going to it which will do better.

All I could say is...
If they were inneffective.. people would not use them.. or at least not so many.. But remember they are good for more than just the 3 bux that they get.. first off.. is a good way to entice the surfer.. to sign up.. less money to risk.. then once that person has signed up.. you have a person who has a credit card and who will use it to buy porn.. so then u can sell him up on shit.. ;) MHO |

how much can a ratio get worser, if a site stops offering trials and offers a monthly membership for 30 or 40 bucks
( not that I'm already a paysite owner, but I'm really interested in that info ) ? |
