Heh I have no fucking clue... No she hasn't - I've been employed (up till now) ever since I got my immigration status in Canada.. Some of the furniture was given to us by her grandfather's estate who passed away, but fuck...

The used furniture you're going to get from friends would cost more to ship than it's worth :(

Just grab a couple of bean bag chairs or a futon until you "get the house of your dreams" - fuck it - no use to spend money on it now, then money to move it, and then more money replacing it when you realize it doesn't fit the dream house "decor".

If you need furniture right away you can have my g/f. I'll move her in tomorrow and you'll have enough furniture to fill that place up :Graucho

When I split with my first wife I told her to take what she wanted and I took off for a few weeks. When I returned home a few weeks later there was not one fucking thing in the house, not a spoon or fork, not a rool of toilet paper, nothing, my clothes were neatly folded and stacked on the floor where the dresser used to be. I couldn't believe it and learned a lot about women that day.

I did get the last laugh tho, we lived in an old house that had a basement with an entrance from outside the house, we never used it and about a month after she left my brother moved in with me, he had a lot of extra shit so we decided to store it down to the basement. When I went down to the basement for the first time since she had left I discovered 20 - 30 boxes of her shit she had hidden there figuring she would sneak back later and pick up I guess. She taken so much shit, it probably wouldnt fit in her apartment.

I ran the water hose thru the basement window and filled the basement up with water and let her shit float around for a few days. Me and my brother got drunk and sat on the steps watching all her boxes floating around and sinking for a few hours and laughed our asses off.

Four years ago one of my ex's moved out. I told her to take whatever she wanted.

I had no furniture, no bed, no TV. I actually slept on the floor for four months.

It was the best thing ever. Nothing is better than getting rid of a bad relationship, regardless of the cost.

The first time after that I came home from work, everything was where I left it, and it was QUIET.

That alone was worth giving up the few material things she took.

I'm thinking of pawning my Canon PowerShot A40 digital camera... Might give me some extra cash, altho I really don't want to have to resort to that if necessary
