i like it, had it for a few weeks, i like the bottom slide feature the most with flashlight and calc right there ready to go

Looks like shit IMO.

has it just come out or something? All I see on fb is people saying how long it is taking to download, and my internet connection is down to such a shit speed I've had to stop work, I assumed because however many milion people in the UK are currently d/l'ing it.

taking ages to download, even with fast internet. Faaark!

You all should already know better. Whenever an update or new downloadable content
becomes available, the servers will be clogged for the first 8 - 12 hours (or more).

Most people I've talked to today downloaded it around 2pm, about an hour after it was out ... at 1pm, it was slammed and nearly inaccessible.

Hmmm. Mine still says that I'm up to date with the 6.whatever. Is is it only for the 4S and up? (I've got a 4.)

It took about 5 minutes to download here. Was really fast. Installation was fast too. I like the new interface - its slick and the animation is cool. One really cool thing is that you can now slide-down to search, and slide-up to get at settings you often need such as wifi and bluetooth. And it sounds goofy, but the flashlight button on slide-up is pretty damn handy too.

The only thing I was surprised to see was a second button appear when I receive a call. The first button is "answer" of course but the second one is "remind". Kind of a cool idea. If you can't take the call, press "remind" and it will set a timer that reminds you to call the person back at that time. Not sure how useful it will be but we'll see.

Anyway, fast download and zero problems installing. All my old aps appear to work without any problems.

Sadly there's no Apple innovation in this update. They only imitate shit from Windows Phone, Symbian OS and Android nowadays.

To be fair the "remind" feature was always there.
All one had to do when getting an incoming call was swipe up and it would be to the right. At least with the iPhone 5

the best feature is you can now put the newsstand inside a folder to not see that shit ever again.

Mines ok but I kind of want to go back to iOS6. iOS7 is weird in some parts, I dont like how you have to swipe left now to delete things, the internet pages are weird. A lot of things have been changed to weird symbols, so its not obvious how to do things, you have to click around and guess.

Mine decided it was time to update this morning. Still having a play around and getting used to it. How do you close background programs? (Used to be double-tap the home button and hold down the icon. Not now?)

One could always do that as well.

Took me a few tries to discover, now also double tap the home button, the apps appear there, to close them, swipe them up.

Btw, hate the new look.

Downloaded it overnight. Wiped everything off our iPhone. Apps, pictures, music... Fuck me. This is stupid.

Double click home...have app you want to close in the middle of screen and swipe UP.

Very fast and natural motion...a real improvement.

They stealed this idea from Microsoft where you have to swipe down instead of swipe up to close an app.

Agree I love some of the new features but,the overall look and feel I hate.

The UI is the worst ever, They totally stole it from Microsoft Windows phones. I hope steve jobs come back from the dead and all apple employees get fired.

The blocked call feature and auto app update is neet but why change the fucking UI.
