Reinstall your backup.

The only idiot in the equation was you. The directions say to back up and we updated 5 phones and 3 iPads in the past few days with no hassles.

You're an even bigger idiot that I thought, if you don't have that shit backed up.

So you upgraded an operating system on a device and did not bother to back up in case you had an issue?

That's stupid.

But it also seems that Apple Fired all of their designers.

You have a super detailed retina display and you have a 64 processor in the 5s to do what? Play games? Pretty lame!

No more detailed designs, no mor detailed, Icons, no more 3d shadow effect in design, seems to me that the Designer got fired or quit.

Looks like an Android and ad far as upgrading from my 4s to the 5s, I'm really in no hurry now.


I cant be the only one that feels like this. Should have left the 6 design and added 7 options.

While I admit that the interface sucks cosmetically, I am quite impressed by the functionality. The control center up-swipe is perfect for people like me, whose whole house is wired through my devices. I constantly use the calculator and alarms, Airplay is easily accessible and Airdrop is a great addition (goodbye BUMP). Switching between apps is a tad smoother and I'm having fun, learning a phone again! #1 complaint is the CALENDAR. It is atrocious. I do not like the timeline view and it's really fucking with my daily schedule. Also, I have to restore from backup, due to getting CONSTANT reminders that my notifications aren't working, even though they are.

Other than that, all is well. :thumbsup

I installed through our developer account a ferw weeks ago. There are a ton of new features, it's faster, more intuitive, and the interface is awesome once you get used to it.

I suggest watching a couple of Youtube videos or video on the apple site to see many of the new features.

oh - iTunes Radio is in it too now and will probably crush Pandora

Calendars+ is really good.

Syncs with Google calendar flawlessly.


My whole crew is one it. We all share one production calendar with all of the shoot info, girl, location, etc. Save the need for updating everyone. They just look at their phone for the info.




Really? So cool. Thanks for the info. Will check it out. I knew there was way more too it than just new graphics.

wiped everything too, back now with pics going back to 2009, had about 8 lockups so far where the lock screen wont swipe to open, love it :(

and backup apps in background canes your bandwith cap too, so thats now off as well
