Pres. Obama Getting An Earful In Russia At G20 Summit

Wow, CNN and FNC and MSNBC don't report much of anything.
But I was watching Al Jazeera America news last night and they were reporting on the G20 summit.

The reporter said that Obama is getting slammed by all the other countries there over Syria. They are all (rightfully so) AGAINST the U.S. attacking another sovereign nation without the U.N.

Also...Obama's spying tactics are really pissing off the rest of the world as well.

He was seated next to the President of Brazil. And the reporter on the scene said she was furious and gave him an earful over HER private emails being read by the U.S. govt.

He reported that the President of Mexico also let Obama know how pissed off he is.

Folks...the United States is really starting to look BAD.
Ever since 9-11 when Bush decided to start using the military instead of just going after Osama Bin Laden with a small special forces unit...the U.S. has become the world's BULLY.

We are spying, attacking, invading, occupying and ordering other nations around like they were children. And at home... we are spying on our own citizens, searching our citizens like criminals... This is what I was taught in grade school that the United States was supposed to stand AGAINST.

The Federal Govt. is out of control in just about every way I can think of.

And Pres. Obama is going against everything he said both as a Senator and a Pres. candidate back in 2008.
I don't know if the man has lost touch with reality or if he is just drunk with power or both.

I know we've all argued about Syria in other threads...But I have to say that I'm disgusted with our Federal Govt.
I will never vote for a Republican or Democrat again. The corruption and cronyism is just too deep in their organizations.
Obama has at least taught me that. So he can have credit for a "teachable moment" as his media swooners like Chris Matthews love to say. :(

It's laughable when you listen to these people go on about how if we don't do anything to punish the Syrian government, there will be nothing to keep the next villian from doing the same thing to their people.

Have they been living under a rock? Saddam Hussein gassed his people, we went in and basically fucked up their country for generations to come, and ultimately watched Saddam swinging from the end of a noose.

I would've thought that would've been a real good incentive for Syria to NOT use WMD.
I obviously was wrong.

Barry-xlovecam 09-06-2013 07:31 AM

America and France could just do nothing (for now).

So, who is your "hero" the Dictator or the Slimy Rebels?

If the conflict is confined within Syria's borders it will not effect America nor France -- the Russians have more to lose in this.

Isolationism, Overt Action, or hope for Containment -- pick your poison ...

Remember Neville Chamberlain; he made a deal with the devil -- the Munich Agreement of 1938 -- that worked out well :upsidedow

I know it bothers you as much as it bothers me to see what our govt. is doing across the board. And I'm not talking politics. I'm talking about what they apparently just keep doing no matter who is President or not.

I think that's why we disagree on the size and scope of govt.
I'm thinking that they need to be cut down to size and lose a lot of this power.

But while we may disagree on that point...I know we both are unhappy with what is happening. And I further think that a LOT of people are.

brassmonkey 09-06-2013 10:14 AM

this shit is the end coming :2 cents: this is different from the cold war

femdomdestiny 09-06-2013 10:32 AM

Why do you guys need so much time to wake up? This is nothing new. Same was done back in 1999 in Serbia. Without UN approval, country was attacked and Muslim terrorists supported until they took almost one third of country. Excuse for attack was a lie just like it is now in Syria or it was in Iraq. What is worst of all, attack was planned for several days and lasted almost three months because serbian army resisted well. Once US and NATO saw that they didn't manage to destroy military or damage it , revenge started and cluster bombing of civilian trains, markets, houses, and economy started. For those interested and how effective it was, take a look at next video:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=fV2h4F1OglE

Difference is that Syria now have Russian support while Serbs were left alone to fight because of that drunk cocksucker Yeltsin.

Robbie 09-06-2013 10:35 AM

I agree with you.
I think what Clinton did was unconstitutional.
And now the Obama administration is using that example to say he can do it too if Congress doesn't give him approval.

Let's see...the vast majority of the U.S. does NOT want this. The vast, vast majority of the world does NOT want this. And Congress itself is divided over it.

And yet...apparently it will happen. :(

The Iraqi government hung him for the war crimes he committed against his own population.

We went after him because the CIA allegedly reported that Hussein was amassing more chemical weapons.

2012 09-06-2013 11:06 AM

it all makes sense now. save the children by bombing more children. save us from possible chemical attack by creating a possible nuclear war, make more enemies than we already have, go deeper into debt(not military contractors of course but you and your family) . how about invading some of the problems we have here for a change ... hmm, what to do... people are waking up to the bullshit so let's just destroy everything and go live underground . if we can't have all the candy any more, nobody can ! they hate us for our freedom. you're a racist . i didn't just write this. 3+3 is 11 beam me up scotty S.O.S. help

But he gassed the Kurds in 1988 and we did nothing until 1991 and that was only because of Kuwait.

Yea sure his own people might of hung him partly due to his gassing of the Kurds, but we did nothing at all when he did it.

You're exactly right.

Because the Federal Govt. of The United States has been pulling this kind of shit since at least the end of WW2.

I'm sickened by the whole bunch of them. This country needs an enema.

Then back to my original point. Ruining a country and hanging a dictator did nothing to keep the next chemical attack from happening. Why should we believe that spanking Syria now will keep it from happening again. That is the Obama administrations position on why we need to launch a punitive attack.

That's true, but you FIGURE THIS NOW ???... Too late to figure it out...

The US has been hated by the World, since decades...

In the 70's and 80's your Government supported DICTATORSHIPS all around the World... You invaded countries during decades.

And you figure this now?... Come on. Or you are too naive or you have been hiding in a box for the last 40 years.

Every country I know, hated the USA for long time (besides the obvious classic friends like UK or Australia or Canada , they are like the little brothers).

People all around the World hated BUSH so much, I can't explain it to you. I have seen lots of Americans hating BUSH so much and feeling embarrassed to say they are "americans" when they visited another country... They were embarrassed to say they were "Americans" when they came to Brazil, because of BUSH, people looked you with HATE, because they saw you as an enemy...

At the beginning, OBAMA started to show some change and some hope. People all around the world started liking him. He was very different from the NAZI Bush. But now, he has to show who he really is. Is he the same shit as BUSH? Or he wants a real change?... Guantanamo is still open. He promised to close it.

Hi Robbie,

I hope that Obama doesn't attack Syria. The situation is fucked up but the rebels are pretty crazy too. There seems to be no "right side".

Furthermore the US would have to be 1 million percent sure that chemical weapons were used. Don't forget that George Bush and his buddies lied their asses off to justify their 10 year war.

Don't be disgusted at your current resident though. The NSA spy program was first reported back in 2007 or earlier. Obama ended the wars that Bush started. Obama can;t close Gitmo because the republicans won't let him.

If you want to be disgusted, be disgusted at every republican's hero, Ronald Reagan. That dumb fuck actually sold chemical weapons to Iraq

99.9% of American people are good people just like in any other country. Its our governments who fuck things up for us, and never listen to what the people are saying. They seem to live on a completley different planet to the real people of the world. Its not just the USA Governments who are hated but pretty much most are around the world, and if I were a USA citizen i sure wouldent be ashamed to say I was but I would be ashamed of the goverment just like I am here in the UK.

The problem is that we continue to vote the same people who have fucked over back into office time and time again.

Eventually, we the people have to take responsibility for the people we are putting in power.

I'd say it accelerated dramatically after 9/11. I would happily go back to the federal government of 1997.

That is what the president of The Netherland should do also! Fuck that Obama shithead and the other presidents who started it. It is not normal what they are doing to spy the UN, EU and every souvereign country like Holland. I am proud that Brazil don't care about hoe the USA thinks about them. And they are right, there are so many minerals and new oil fields that Brazil don't need the USA in anyway. Good to read some Americans think the same way!

I hope Holland ís smarter this time and stay away from the Middle East. But Iran with Nukes, that isn't a good feeling also.

Nothing going on in Syria is more of a threat to the US than our bad jobless rate, suffering economy and a government that's spying on it's own citizens.

The rebels are just as bad as the administration there

Dear Barry, work on the problems at home before you go after the ones you invent in other countries!

Hypothetically, If I were the new "king" of al-Qaeda; I would now be trying hard as hell to make SARIN or VX gas to attack either US Territory or US interests in the world to give the Americans a compelling reason to repudiate their isolationism and attack to the benefit of my (the new "king" of al-Qaeda's) interests in Syria .. (Hypothetically (got to ward off the NSA:upsidedow))

Remember the Maine in 1898 and the the sinking of the Cunard ocean liner RMS Lusitania in 1915 -- you guys did pay attention in history class? :upsidedow

Every bomb we drop in a Muslim country is like we are planting seeds and growing brand new "terrorists" that hate our guts and want revenge. :(
