BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Police in Georgia say an anonymous tip helped them make arrests in the shooting death of baby who was killed in a stroller.
The Brunswick Police Department said Sunday that they got a tip that someone was crouched in the back seat of a vehicle as it drove away from the shooting on Thursday. The Glynn County detective's division spent hours following up on the tip and eventually arrested a 14-year-old suspect. The boy's statements led them to take 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins into custody.
Elkins is charged with murder in the death of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago. The baby's mother, Sherry West, said she was walking home when Elkins and a younger boy approached and asked her for money.
Elkins' family says he did not shoot the baby.

Yes, he was at the interview and drowned in a sea of her tears as she cried for 9 minutes.

I don't care how old is the murder, he needs to die on an electric chair in a lot of pain if possible.

What happened to that baby is a tragedy.

However, something about the mother and father (who apparently lives across the street according to the article I read on Saturday) just doesn't sit right. While not everybody handles grief the same, they seem remarkably composed given the circumstances. Perhaps they are still in shock, which would certainly be understandable, but it still strikes me as odd.

I read the story..I see the TV interview...but I'm having hard times believing some of these stories are actually real.

The mother and father were planning to get married, "but it hadn't happened yet";
to quote the mother. She said it will probably be 4 years before she will have any more babies because she is scared to have a baby now.

it's seeming more and more the case of the "victims family" on TV are waaay too composed and use "deflection talk" in this case "her rambling about her leg"..

I feel these stories are fake and made up to help drive the human consciousness to certain conclusions ( which creates a reality tunnel)..but it's not our reality, but the people behind the agenda's reality...TV= stage play.

But did this scene actually HAPPEN? Maybe it did...but maybe it didn't..and I was not there to say it DID.
I see the TV and read the news article and it tells me that it happened.. but trusting the mainstream media is like trusting a blind man to drive you to work...so watching the footage and the odd behavior of these "parents" including the Sandy Hook parents and my gut instinct, my inner man or subconsciousness can't follow along the same party lines as the rest of you guys. We are obviously on two different frequencies.

If it happened it's tragic and sad and I hope justice is served...and I hope she gets her leg fixed as well since she seems to be more concerned about that than her child.

well since a bullet grazed her ear, you can assume that she was supposed to get shot in the head but she was a moving target. the baby however, would be much easier to shoot.

no matter if you want to believe who did it, a baby was shot in the head by someone, which is totally fucked and should make everyone think twice about where we are headed as a species.

I totally believe something like this can happen and even worse than this can happen!

I also believe that it is important to investigate every crime story reported in all normal
