And if, by the mere posting of a liberal English newspaper's reporting on tracking software, I draw the label of "conspiracy theorist", those who affix that label will reveal themselves to be either ignorant, in denial, or hopelessly naive.

People post everything they do online with no thought to it being public.

I'm sure the NSA is at the top of Raytheon's list of potential customers for RIOT software.

A lot of time and effort went into producing people who do not care.

I'd like to know more about how it works so I can make sure I'm avoiding being tracked. I don't have anything to hide, but I dislike all of my information being linked in a database. Just in case it gets hacked or they sell it off to the wrong person I don't want people taking out credit cards in my name.

If "they" don't have that info there is not much to track in the first place.

and very little time into conspiracy theorists who dont know how to use the internet. It is not rocket science this stuff you know. It is not hard to keep your name off of it either.

Software like that only regurgitates what is fed to it. Therefore a person has direct control over what is pushed out there.

Someone who has even a smidgen of sense can create multiple personalities online. It's an <insert acronym here> agent's dream in regards to creating an alternate persona.
