I blame the parents. The dad is complaining that it is dangerous to feed those Dolphins, he is the one who paid his money to let his daughter be in that situation. I've fed the Dolphins at Seaworld several times, you are told how to do it properly and it is advised that children are assisted in doing it by a parent or guardian. No sympathy here whatsoever. Poor Dolphin just wanted it's food, the dad or mum is making her pose with the food, shit happens.

Perhaps he thought there is a food in her hand, or he's just missed like it happens sometimes when you are throwing a stick to a big dog. Or maybe he was just angry at her for some reason. Who knows? :)

I believe her family is decent enough to don't sue SeaWorld for that :2 cents:

The kid was holding the tray up, and the dolphin was impatient. It's the parents fault for not monitoring the situation and their ignorance, but pretty sure that they will get a fat cheque to make it go away, so that Sea-World doesn't loose one of its big attractions. I have a problem with these types of interactions both with the Dolphins and the Rays. Any time you put kids and animals together unsupervised, its a recipe for disaster. You wanna go pet a dolphin, swim in the Ocean see if they come up to you.

I always enjoyed doing that as a kid.

I believe Seaworld treats their animals very well actually. Obviously these animals belong in the Oceans and I agree they do, but I do think these ones are looked after very very well.

Seaworld and the other parks encourage the slaughter of dolphins so that they can get their pick of the "pretty ones", and then the captivity itself is horrible on them.

i don't know much about seaworld but i know there are a lot of complaints and angry people with marineland in niagra falls.

there's 2-3 more of those idiots that play around with the animals, i hope they all get eaten by what they play with

The parents here MUST have been told how to feed the Dolphins. Why they watched their brats do their own thing and say fuck the rules is beyond me, and here is what happens when they do.

The dolphin came up for some food, since it looked like it was being dangled in front of it for it to collect. The girl should have been dropping the fish right away, and keeping her arm straight.
