fiddy poor kids getting eaten by dolphins :thumbsup

..

In all seriousness, WTF do you expect when you are playing with wild animals. I bet those parents called an attorney within minutes looking to sue.

livexxx 12-03-2012 02:38 PM

I read that the US Navy have about 80+ working dolphins and 40+ sealions on their roll call on mine hunting duty. The old ones are retired and some are loaned out to animal parks, including Sea World !!11111

Bet that one was getting some payback for being drafted

Poor dolphin if you ask me.

Seriously can't believe how much media attention a little accidental nip from a dolphin is getting. Funny timing, just watched this one the other day about some dolphin incident in New Zealand:

Seaworld and the other parks encourage the slaughter of dolphins so that they can get their pick of the "pretty ones", and then the captivity itself is horrible on them.

.

I saw it, very disturbing.

I was hanging out with a old friend who's home visiting family. She's a dolphin trainer there at that facility. This is a big deal for them. She was defintely anxious about being here for another week while all her co-workers were dealing with this. She had a bunch of vacation to use or loose, and this all goes down while she's gone.

That's not the American way...

NatalieK 12-04-2012 04:58 PM

It wasn't really the kids fault, she was just holding the fish ready to feed the dolphin, the dolphin should have been more trained but in total fairness, a simple mistake.

Agreed they should be in the wild, but dolphins are supposed to enjoy & appreciate human contact. How many people own fish here, isn't all the same with any animal in captivity as a pet or for show at zoos & parks?

fatfoo 12-04-2012 05:06 PM

That Dolphin is just out of control. Dolphin needs to be disciplined. This Dolphin bites people.

:1orglaugh Stupid does as stupid do.

My apologies for being a bit of a humanitarian.

On page 1, I noticed 2 or 3 people saying the dolphins should be in the wild. I was just merely pointing out the fact, so many people keep all kinds of animals in captivity as pets. Turtles, fish, crabs all in tropical fish tanks. Not really a clever idea to begin acts of banter, stating the sealife centers are wrong.

What's stupid is the fact you had to remark on my post if it was really that stupid :thumbsup
