Being a beer snob sucks doesn't it? I get embarrassed when my wife asks me to pick up some Mich light. :winkwink:

Luckily, goodgirl has become a beer snob right along with me, that will never be a concern. :1orglaugh

But for the record, the only Lite beer I ever enjoyed was Miller Lite and MGD Light but that has been many, many years ago.
:upsidedow

I remember when that month was all about racing, not the all the posers, what a joke.

If you want to do a trade for stuff not available there, please feel free to contact me. I go to bottle shares and know a lot of owners around here as well as home brewers so definitely interested in hard to find brews.

Have Facebook or is email better?

Brujah 10-18-2012 09:55 PM

Verbal, send him some of the TBBC beers too now that they're selling.

Love that place and their beers. I would I could ship, but they don't bottle them do they?

Do you have October confused with March?

Wow really, October at Daytona is the last race of the year for AMA/CCS racing, March is the first round.

I have been going since 1979, no Harley's for so many years, no drunk ass losers on bikes that they can't even ride.

March has always been the mad house that is bike week, no issues with that but October was always for the racers, it was nice and quite easy to get around and get a room, not any more.

Oh well ride a mile and push a while I guess...

March Bike Week is all about the racing. And I have to agree, Daytona does seem to attract a lot of trailers (at least back when I went there in the late 80's early 90's).

I remember being treated like royalty when people found out I actually rode there. :1orglaugh

Yea March is the first round, but to all the racers they love the October round as the rest of the circus is not there.

Also a lot of first time racers go in March so it gets a bit crazy on the track, in October it goes by points so it's only the better racers who show up.

MediumPimpin 10-19-2012 12:00 PM

Took these pictures coming home the last time I was there.

I remember in 87 standing by Boot Hill checking out a customized Sportster with my friend that rode out with me. You have to understand that it was raining when we left LA and we hit rain every fucking day on the way out and it rained off an on the whole week in Daytona.

The owner of the bike came out and informed us that he had trailered his bike the entire 150 miles from St Pete and that he had never washed his bike with water. He then proceeded to push the bike around the corner to his waiting trailer. We :1orglaugh :1orglaugh:1orglaugh over that one.

I can't imagine how bad it must be now; Daytona is crowded enough without a bunch of trailers and RV's.

I always fall in this trap. I opened the thread to see girls on bicycles. :P
Nice photos btw :pimp
If I hear 'biker' how much chance does it have that it means motorcycle vs bicycle?

When I hear "Biker" I think of a Harley rider.

Most people I know in the bicycle word call themselves cyclists.
