If I need to concentrate on what I'm doing, then some Back or Mozart is nice.

If it's just mindless tasks, then Slayer or Mastodon -- or some other metal band.

I pop in my old school rap CD...I put one together with 100+ mp3s on it with rap from the 70s, 80s and 90s to bump in my whip. It's either playing in my PC or my in-dash CD player. Never leave home without it.

Old school stuff like, Biggie Smalls, Juice Crew, King Tee, Kurtis Blow (the breaks), Eric B. and Rakim, NWA, Ice Cube, Ghetto Boyz, Fat Boys, Early Eminem...the list goes on.

None of that new school garbage they call rap nowadays...it makes my ears bleed.

Either something hip hop or Etta James, Nina Simone, etc.

i tend to like fast paced metal or punk music to keep me going. also like psychedelic type music from the 60's and some rap from time to time.

Spoken word is too distracting to focus on work, well for me anyway

I listen to digitially imported stuff. Their funky house is pretty good

I randomly mash shit up in VirtualDJ, sometimes record.
House, techno, trance, whatever.
