I won't hire her based on principles.

She tried to attack fris on the 'thief' angle only to have it backfire badly in her face. Then, instead of walking away quietly like she should have done, now she's accusing him of money laundering.

I won't hire someone like that, and wouldn't let her anywhere near my business. And if I were Fris, I'd be going after her for slander and libel...

She is unprofessional, lacking in good judgement, unable to admit when she's wrong, and prone to post false accusations against you if you rub her the wrong way.

Any of those four would make me unlikely to work with her. All four combined makes it an easy decision.

Right now I'm having to decide whether or not to do business with two people. One is knowledgeable, skilled and successful. On the other hand, he's horrible at PR, posting shit that pisses people off, so being associated with him could hurt our brand. That's enough for me to be pretty hesitant.


Thee other guy is also very skilled and comes with great references. However, he thinks it's no big deal to steal a dollar or tell a "little" lie. We think stealing, even one dollar, is a really big deal, as is any lying of any kind.

One issue like that makes me hesitant. GM has four or five obvious issues, so no way would I want to get near her.

Only the trolls see what i did as something as wrong.. wonder why.

You are misinterpretting "voting against you". I voted what I did because we hired an on-staff designer and correct, we won't hire you. As for if you hurt your business, then yes, I do think you did. I don't even know you but threads with drama are bad for business. People who don't know you will form an image of you based on these threads, and in the long run your image and reputation are everything.

i'll hire Anna, have projects ongoing with her and many more coming up. anybody who takes GFY drama seriously, especially now since GFY is 90% surfers, trolls and failures, is nuts.

she produces great designs, clean markup and if she makes a mistake she'll take care of it - her prices for the quality of work are reasonable.

I don't give a fuck. If the price is right and the quality good I will hire her.

There's a lot of negativity in here, mainly because most aren't making any money and come here to kill boredom. When the negativity gets under my skin I stay away for months sometimes and when I come back I try to read/post on-topic and constructive only. And I use the ignore list, that works very well. Don't waste your time on negativity and losers, if you're good at your work people hire you anyway, nobody cares about some dumb poll.

All any of these threads have proven is that business must be hurting for her. And instead of improving her services/product, she tried to attack the competition directly with slanderous and libelous accusations. If it were me, I'd be in the process of filing a law suit by now.

In the end, this simple fact remains: the only one she's hurting in this crusade of slander and libel is herself.

she's talented, does great work, and is crazy as all outside. plenty fish in the sea for designing but she is definitely in the top 5% for complete designers if you can weather the storms. She did work for me years back, and I swore not to use her again just because I don't care to deal with the lunacy, but I was happy with the end results of her work.

For me professional behavior in public is very important to conduct business relationship.Because if someone is acting crazy in public who knows what kind of that person is in private then.It's not always case,but what is safe it's safe.
