Any ordained ministers here? How is organized religion business these days?
 

Just saw new church in small shopping strip were I go for Italian food. Something about "Chosen and Blessed People of Jesus Church". Was empty retail space for rent and now has big ass sign, pastor So-and-So, mini van upfront. How hard is it to get in that market?

I've thought about that alot recently. I'm not religious but I would like to buy a church and get a well spoken preacher to put up front

I heard of a scam that jews were running in ny/nj area. They would claim their houses as jewish temple to avoid any taxation. All you had to do is put up some sort of altar in one corner of your house and you were set to go.
