So in order to load money on to my account, I need to supply valid ID's (EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY DID THAT TO GET THE MOTHERFUCKING ACCOUNT VALIDATED?!) and I have to download, print, sign, scan and upload your FUCKING documents??

All this to add funds, so I can pay someone? FUCK YOU! :321GFY

Oh.. also scan the front AND back of my VISA card, thus violating VISA rules and forfitting my bank insurance in case the card is abused.

I'm trying to pay a guy for some websites, he won't use paypal. So now the deal is off unless we can settle the payment some other way.

I tried adding my business' Bank of America Visa debit card that I've been using for years to load my account and the card was repeatedly rejected. Only problem I've ever experienced with that card.

You may block out the CVV # on the scan.

I don't have a scanner at home, so I'll have to wait until I get to the office. In any case, I already documented who I am to you, this extra crap just pisses me off and unless you can bypass the download, sign, upload, scan credit card stuff there's no need for me to talk further.

What about western union or something? Bound to be some other way to pay the guy besides paypal. If it were me, I'd take the paypal and immediately transfer it to my bank account. Not sure what could go wrong with that.

I love the payoff for Paxum. Pay with ease... yea right :) But good on those that like it. I don't. And won't.

We can accept photographs of the full document as well. The photos must be high quality, full color.

What you don't seem to understand, is that all of this is done to protect you from fraud. All of these steps are necessary thanks to thieves who rip people off. Paxxum (and others) pro-active approach keeps fraud as low as possible. You should be thanking them for taking all of this extra care to verify you and to help you get an account with them.

How is this protecting me from fraud?

Does Paxum guarantee that I get my money back if I don't get the goods after I transfer payment to another paxum account? (like paypal buyers protection).

if you don't like paxum's rules you are free to use gypsy mules who tuck banknotes under their hairy breasts or whatever you use in your part of the world for money transfers.

Paxum guys can get really crazy. They rejected scans of my drivers license because I put it right on top edge of my scanner and they couldn't see the entire "curve" of my DL's top corners.

Pretty fucking crazy considering latest story about paxum and 5+K that was funded from totally photoshoped cards and IDs.

Same here I went through the crazy process of providing documents twice, but if thats their rules, provide or use something else. Paxum beyond that is a very good service.

We do not have an official named 'policy' for it.

Adult business involves a higher risk of thieves and scammers than mainstream. Ergo Paxum add additional security checks.

one more thing, designer with no paypal are more likely scammer. i use a lot of designers and they all have paypal.

They are making sure that you are who you say you are. Only you would have all of the info they are requesting. If they let someone else sign up with your name without super-checking the way they do, you would be singing a different tune.

I had someone who wanted to be paid via Paxum last December, so I tried to set up an account. Paxum was having some sort of funds loading sale, so it seemed like a good time. I know people take time off during the holidays, but the Paxum system wouldn't let me load automatically and nobody got back to me until after the sale was over. And Paxum rejected my ID for being expired. I realize I could have snapped a pic of another ID and uploaded it, but the whole thing just seemed like kind of a hassle.

I wish PayPal had not had that Troy Barba guy lead everyone down the garden path about subscriptions at the shows. I'm not unhappy with the settlement PayPal gave me, but it was certainly less than I lost on rebills. But the PayPal system is just the hands-down most elegant in terms of the way one can fund the account.

I had to jump through all those hoops too for Paxum, but once you're set up it's a pretty smooth process and Ruth has always been online to answer my questions or take care of any issues. Services like this are breeding grounds for fraud so they have to cover their asses I guess

You may be you but are you useing your credit card. I dont see the issue. 5 mins of your life to protect you and others who do buis through them. Yup that sucks.
