It took me a while to get used to it, but I really am happy that I made the switch to Moniker with all of my domains last year. I had been putting it off.. but today I was pleased that it took me not much time and no additional help to merge, move and update nearly 100 domains for servicing some assets of ours and another client.

Every time I have had questions, Bari Meyerson has been very helpful - even if it's just on an $8 domain. Further, they have been excellent as brokers & escrow for multiple domain acquisitions.

I am happy I moved all my domains away from them.

My domains with them have not been down as far as I know. And I personally haven't had issues accessing their site, though I don't do it daily.

Always had good luck with moniker. I recommend them to all my clients.

only used them a couple times, im with namecheap mostly

They had too many privacy issues, so I left.

Over the years, Moniker has been great.

Overall I'm happy with Moniker, especially since Don Lyons took over my account.

That being said, I'm still not a fan of their interface and I don't understand why they do some of the things they do....But once they helped me figure it out, it seems to work pretty well.

I moved my 200+ domains to them a few years ago and couldn't be happier!

I left moniker due to fuckup with whois,still having one domain there for seo purposes might move it away anyway.

FYI, Monte left Moniker quite some time ago.

I almost left moniker because of Don Lyons. His lack of professionalism and (quite frankly) rudeness were unbelievable.

The best account manager they ever had was Chris Leggatt. If you had a problem, he would fix it. Friendly guy to have chat with. Always kept his word. If they made a mistake, he was the first to fess up and always made things right.

Maybe Brad can Host them?????

Moniker was much better when it wasn't part of oversee.net.

What's funny is that I recall Aaron having some issues with his initial rep's lack of professionalism before he got Don, not sure if that was Bari.

Moniker is the win. They had some downtime, but nothing that made me lose that much sleep.

Escrow services there are the best

Chris was horrible account manager.

I only had good experiences. And I liked the service (for the reasons I mentioned). Even after they had let him go, he still showed loyalty to moniker and a willingness to help his former clients. To me that showed integrity.

But it is funny how some people had good experience with some reps while some had bad,practically there was no rep with 100% positive rep.

Everyone is in love with Moniker....... sorry for the bump but I wanted to see who were drinking cool aid during this period in GFY history.

moniker was great then. it has since changed hands several times...

They were awesome for many years. Best service ever in the very early 2000's.

I have had a few bumps in the road since about 2008, and always hated their old interface, however the past 2 years have been a giant suck especially after the new interface was put in place.

I have moved hundreds of names already with less than 150 still at moniker now.

I had a feeling this thread was gonna be ancient..
