Payoneer pissing me off - lost our wire load
We've been using Payoneer without a hitch for the past 8 months. Once a month we load our account with a wire transfer, in order to make webmaster payments.
Earlier this month, we sent our wire as usual. But now, for some reason, the funds ended up in Payoneer's Bank of Montreal account, instead of the Choice Bank in Belize as we instructed. And, Payoneer says they have to send our money back, and they can't simply transfer it to our Payoneer account. And, the refund may take 2 WEEKS! Aargh, I hate dealing with thrid party processors. Too much shit to go wrong. (I kind of alluded to this problem back in October; see https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=17583820&postcount=22) |

It sucks... :(
|
sorry to hear that, hope you get it sorted soon :2 cents:
|
it sucks, but running sort of a company like that you cant take risks, wire went wrong it needs to be send back to the original bank

when dealing with pseudo banks what do you expect?

heard that one before.

We send them wires as per their instructions (ie. to Choice Bank in Belize) as we have done without problem for 8 months. They get wire, but not to Choice Bank, but to their BofM account. (no idea why).
So, they got our money. Why not just do an "internal" transfer to whatever account they need our money in, and credit our damn account. |
Paxum is working for me with no major issues.
|
goodluck with that

What also pisses me off is that I've left two emails and one voicemail for them in the past 24 hours, and no response. |
I am so fucking glad never opened a payoneer account
|
You might wanna update your TOS to state that if your webmasters choose to use any of these 3rd party payment solutions, you aren't responsible when things go wrong.
|
I'm not understanding how a bank in Belize and a bank in Montreal could have similar enough routing codes that money would magically appear on Montreal when you've used the same wire instructions to send money to Belize for months. That simply does not make sense.

And, the lack of communication from Payoneer isn't helping my stress levels... |
Why dont you simply switch to paxum and forget payoneer ?

Good Luck with that deal!!

payoneer is used by most of the cam programs for some reason, not paxum.
they dominate that field. |

Hi guys,
Sorry for not replying earlier =- for some reason this thread didn't show up on my searches on the iPad. (I miss a lot apparently). Anyway, first of all, I am really sorry about this problem. I'm not sure how it happened since we don't deal with the Bank of Montreal, not as a base bank at least, we probably make transfers there. As such, this isn't a case of the money being in one of our accounts, otherwise I don't see how it would be an issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, but regardless I would like to know your ticket number (starts with LTK) so I can escalate the case and make sure it's taken care of as soon as possible. Please either post it here or email it to me. As you have stated, we did acknowledge receiving your money, meaning this isn't a case of stolen funds as some people here have suggested. Just wanted to point that out. :-) |
Thanks Talia. Email has been sent to you.
