DeanCapture 06-22-2011 02:16 PM

Dennis69 06-22-2011 02:16 PM

Yep down me as well :(

LeRoy 06-22-2011 02:17 PM

Ouch! hopefully not 4 long.

Jim_Gunn 06-22-2011 02:18 PM

My sites are down right now too. This happens far more frequently than most people think, at least once a month or more. I often find out when I try to send an email and I get a message that the domain in my return address does not exist Thankfully it only lasts a few minutes most times.

d-null 06-22-2011 02:22 PM

me too :(

CyberHustler 06-22-2011 02:22 PM

God damnit Can't even email support. I need a blunt right now.

$5 submissions 06-22-2011 02:23 PM

Same here. AmeriNoc always pulls through though. I have full confidence in them.

brassmonkey 06-22-2011 02:23 PM

mgtarheels 06-22-2011 02:23 PM

Good ol' hosting company that cannot even keep its own site up.

miguel7 06-22-2011 02:25 PM

jack.nasty 06-22-2011 02:26 PM

blackmonsters 06-22-2011 02:27 PM

I'm shocked.

Jim_Gunn 06-22-2011 02:28 PM

Not just our sites are down, but many of us are missing emails too if we have our own domain email servers. Grr...

CyberHustler 06-22-2011 02:28 PM

Terrorist attack? Somebody had better flown a fucking plane right into the data center or I'm suing for my $9.95 back!

CurrentlySober 06-22-2011 02:29 PM

You should be running your mx records through google mail :2 cents:

XSV 06-22-2011 02:30 PM

Initial reports we have are a power issue in the area, don't have all the details yet or if it's just DC related nor why backup generators aren't kicking in if it is isolated to the DC, this is all we know at this time.

We are aware, onsite and working as fast as we can.

miguel7 06-22-2011 02:30 PM

I feel much better I'm not alone ;-)

CyberHustler 06-22-2011 02:31 PM

My sites are back up. Thank Buddah.

undersoul 06-22-2011 02:32 PM

I've been having issues ppl sending me emails to my domain email servers lately. Wonder if it's all tied in?

I'm not sure exactly what that means. I use a lot of email addresses for different reasons, xxx at mydomain.com, zzz at myotherdomain.com for example. What is an mx record and how would running them through google email help? Is that the same thing as simply using my gmail accounts as my primary email addresses instead of my own domains?

TheDoc 06-22-2011 02:35 PM

It's starting to come back...

I just meant that right now, while our sites are down we may be missing receiving important emails. I am usually pleased with my email servers performance in general.

I should clarify that in this situation it would not help if you rely on Amerinoc to provide your DNS. If you were using 3rd party dns AND Google Apps for mail then you would be unaffected by this email wise.

Look up Google Apps for domains, it's actually free for up to 50 users @ each domain name.

LeRoy 06-22-2011 02:42 PM

Back up now :)

cooldude7 06-22-2011 02:45 PM

Sorry everyone, my fault, My programmers are supposed to be setting up my affiliate scripts right about now, so THAT would be why there servers went down lol

ANYTIME I have something I need to have done all hell breaks loose lol

for example I was planning on taking a few days off and head out to the lakehouse and what happens? the next 4 days are rain and strong storms.

sooooo I told the programmers to just go ahead and get the backend setup this afternoon instead since I wasn't going to take my mini vacation ANNNNNND the servers go down.

I'll do my best, but you can pretty much figure 2 or 3 more outages.....

1) the day I launch the program and network

2) the day I launch all the press stuff

3) Visa Approval day (maybe)

4) the day I launch the first bonus payout weekend

I will do my very best to give at least 24 hours notice on 1,2 and 4 but 3 is totally out of my hands lol

The Other Steve 06-22-2011 03:02 PM

Some of our sites are back but they're very very old versions - the last entry I see on one of the sites is dated January 2010.

New sites that we've added in the last six months aren't showing up at all.

Loki 06-22-2011 03:04 PM

Oh and also, I'm fully convinced that my shaving schedule directly effects the local weather.....

I normally grow my beard out in the winter to help keep warm here in the sub zero weather of Northern Michigan.

No matter WHEN I shave it off, we get more snow (even if I wait till mid to late April to do it lol)

Jim_Gunn 06-22-2011 03:05 PM

My sites are back up, and my emails from the last few hours seem to have come in.

Anthony 06-22-2011 03:05 PM

I'm still down across the board.

Shoplifter 06-22-2011 03:06 PM

All still down here.

RandyD 06-22-2011 03:06 PM

1 hour downtime & counting.....
