tube site help - hosting videos, etc

I have a domain i've been sitting on for a while called koochtube.com.. (youtube, koochtube.. anyway), i've been thinking of making it into a niche pornstar tube site..

Getting the tube script is not really the problem, my question is.. for a good tube site to work and not go overboard in bandwidth, how do i compete with other tube sites who have complete 30 minute scenes? i dont have enough resources to host videos on my own server, especially if i get 5000 streams a day... how can i go about this? are there services that let me stream videos from other servers as part of my tube?

Yes. TEVS let's you do that, but really, unless you want to do something illegal, you will have a hard time competing with the sites that has 30+ min video's. Those are almost all cheaters that should be shot in the face.

Use a script that allows you to scrape movies from other tubes

I checked out TEVS, looks fairly simple to integrate to any design, im surprised not more people use this tube script?

You can compete with the other sites quite easily using a free wordpress script for your tube.

PM me if you have any problems setting this up and running it because I will help you get started if needed

Not many people make money doing this and TEVS costs money ;)

I would work on a concept thats more niche - another generalized tube site will be difficult to turn into cash in any dynamic. :(

Who watches the whole 30 min video? I'm done way before that. I have a favourite youtube like site and most of their videos range from 30sec to 6 mins. I usually look for 3mins+ for a quick snapper but would rarely watch a 30min video. Waddya trying to romance yourself or snap one off? So yes you can compete. But there are lots of these sites already out there so I think the best way to make money off this would be to just sell traditional ads.

my advice would be focus on a particular niche. this would be definitely better. good luck.
