I doubt it. They provide a superior product in their trade mag compared to the others. Who knows what all they have cooking under the hood. But they certainly do not appear to be hurting for money.

I would say it's more realistic that they will be one of the last viable companies standing in the next 12-24 months when adult is a ghost town. But I suppose time will tell, as it always does, in such things.

Oh I just remembered they give out stupid awards that are meaningless and most people will piratically suck their cock to get nominated.

I really hope people stop messing around with their stupid awards, its a big joke they playing on you. The award means total shit yet all of you people fly the banners (awards) on your sites and on here and give them lots of free traffic. congrats on getting played.

If companies still care about their awards in the future I think I will be skipping over those companies and doing business with someone else.

that makes no sense. Isn't the majority of their revenue based on ad sales??? If Adult is a ghost town then how in the fuck they still going to be in business? no one left to read their shit or buy ads from them. Or do they do business that we don't know about, have a stake in .xxx or something like that ? If its all based on the adult community to read their shit (provide traffic source / venue so they can then try to sell ads to adult companies) then they in a lot of trouble if there is few people left in the adult community (ghost town) to read their shit and buy ads from them.

We have done very well advertising with Xbiz, sponsoring their shows and I can tell you that Alec, Moe, Kristen and the rest of the crew are all very smart, easy to work with and good at what they do. I think their mags are excellent and they have good writers. Xbiz.net is jumpin' and they have done very well with the shows (as good as a company can do with adult shows these days) and they always work hard to promote those who support them.

Does anyone else kind of find it odd that only 22% of the people who replied to the xbiz poll said they were against .XXX and the other 78% said they either support it or didn't care either way???

No i do not get their hard copy trade mag. Why does that matter. It's a mag, they either make money from charging people to buy the mag and/or from selling ad space in it. If adult is a ghost town, how are they going to continue to be in business if there is 1. no one left to receive their mags. 2. no one buying ads in it.

Actually, that goes to show what little you know & talking out of your ass on this one.

Many of the companies buying ad space in XBIZ are not even represented on forums or GFY. You seem to suffer from the belief you think that GFY represents the adult industry as a whole. It doesn't. There are literally hundreds of companies that advertise in their trade you never would know about if your rely on GFY for your information. Many never post here.

This is one of the things that always makes me laugh about people who do not bother to read the trades, or go to any of the conferences, and talk like they have the pulse of this industry and the companies within it.

You are really out of touch with many of the things going on with the bigger companies. While you are worrying about tubes every day in the latest Paul Markham dead horse thread, arguing about politics, and the color of Obsama's skid marks after being shot. Real business is getting done. A lot of it never even gets mentioned on the forums.

The boards in general are way behind what is actually going on, and most of the topics focus all of their time and energy on is not even on the radar of those paying for ad space in XBIZ. If you rely on GFY to keep up with all of the changes, and innovations going on within this industry, you are clueless.

I doubt the pontificating of Will76 and Paul Markham on GFY about tube sites, industry conspiracies, and their thoughts on life, are keeping Larry Flynt or Steve Hirsch up at night. At best, the small fries and piss ants will be out of this industry, leaving it to the conglomerates who actually have money. Brazzer's is a prime example of a company not hurting for business as easy shown by their different big dollar acquisitions.
