If only a few people kept it hush, hush and took advantage, Amazon might not even notice and/or ship them anyways...

But when there are zillions of orders for them at that, presumably, erroneous price, Amazon is near certainly going to cancel out all the orders and refund.

Target will just go into the seller central backend and refund and cancel the orders, you can bet on it. Don't waste your time.

that's target.com shopping policy. Amazon does not have a stated policy like that although they did inform some customers back in 2000 over a toy price glitch, they can pay the higher price or they can cancel the order.

Who knows, maybe this is for real. Maybe Target is getting rid of overstock - these are the original 60GB PS3's that are outdated.

Dell had something similar with a $1000 pc prices for $100

They had thousands of orders, and cancelling all but a hundred or so. They also terminated more than a few employees that tried to order the deal

Shit like this rarely works...

That being said... I did find a TV on Amazon being sold for 10% of the normal price (somebody fucked up on the decimal placement?) and I didn't tell anyone about it. I ended up receiving the TV. After my order shipped I told my bro about it and he tried. The price was already updated.

UPDATE : NO $40 Ps3 for me :(
