that's target.com shopping policy. Amazon does not have a stated policy like that although they did inform some customers back in 2000 over a toy price glitch, they can pay the higher price or they can cancel the order.

Dell had something similar with a $1000 pc prices for $100
They had thousands of orders, and cancelling all but a hundred or so. They also terminated more than a few employees that tried to order the dealComment

That being said... I did find a TV on Amazon being sold for 10% of the normal price (somebody fucked up on the decimal placement?) and I didn't tell anyone about it. I ended up receiving the TV. After my order shipped I told my bro about it and he tried. The price was already updated.Comment
