Well we got hit by a snow storm yesterday and boy is everyone tripping here. People down here in NC go fucking nuts when it snows. Only got 3-4 in but there's no milk, eggs or bread at the grocery store.

We get the same "panic" over here in Ky when we get a little snow like that. Our snows have gotten few and far between over the last decade. But for some reason when the snow eventually comes these rednecks feel the need to have toast and eggs and drink alot of milk cause they absolutely clear the stores of Milk, eggs & bread too.Comment

I always find it sort of amusing when I hear 3-4 inches of snow shuts down entire states down there. I was in Georgia back in 93 or 94 (I forget now which year) when a similar sized snow "storm" hit and absolutely shut down about 5 states for days.
Here in Winterpeg 3-4 inches of snow causes us to have to brush off our cars, unless of course you own a garage. Other than that nothing stops. Maybe a 3-4 FOOT dumping would shut things down for a day or two at most, but inches? lol

It's been snowing here in Ohio for 5 days now but we only have about 2 inches on the ground. Don't ask me how that is because I have no explanation. hehe, yeah it's really something else. I've been here maybe 15 yrs or so and seen worse, but for one continuous event, this one takes the cake. We blew through our average December totals in 5 days I think.
But folks are mostly used to it. I dont think they even sell anything but all weather tires for instance, and we do have massive road clearing crews rolling 24/7.
