I thought it sucked, that girl was annoying as fuck, nobody fucking talks like that, and the guy acted EXACTLY the same as he did in Superbad.

I couldn't even handle the trailer. Precocious pregnant teen was way too annoying for me.
But what kind of writing do you expect to get from a Stripping Journalist, or whatever she was going for? And why did the Oscar committee bukkake all over that movie? |
Oh man, the GF wanted to see this so we went. There were like 3 parts that made me laugh the rest put me to sleep. She loved it of course!
|
bump for juno sucking
|
I loved it to be quite honest. Ellen Page is a great actress. Check her out in Hard Candy.
|
Very very good movie imo.
|
I like Ellen Page but didn't find the movie to be very good. I thought it was supposed to be comedy but seemed anything but. Interesting side note, Ellen Page played Mr. Lahey's daughter in the first couple seasons of Trailer Park Boys.

2. I thought her sarcasm was snappy and her timing of delivery was perfect. 3. Her interaction with Bateman had a strange sexual tension throughout. The entire time, I had assumed that Juno and he would hook up and keep the baby with him, turning into his young lover. 4. The entire movie had an awkward tension in which it felt like everything could implode at any given second. Her interaction with Jennifer Garner was very interesting, as they were total opposites and I sensed total disgust radiating from her. 5. I personally have a sense of humor that caters towards the tongue in cheek stuff. 6. the movie is interesting if you enjoy seeing different combinations and the reactions to one another. Every person in that movie has a conflicting personality with one another, minus Bateman and Juno... The human interaction that occurred was genius. etc. :2 cents: |
that is ONE juno lost booyah
|
Hard Candy was practically unbearable, and I am a sincere fan of cinema.
That said, I enjoyed Juno. There were overplayed aspects and sterotypes, but I think they were intentional. |

I haven't watched Juno yet, though I was kind of interested in seeing it, so I can't make a judgement on it myself yet. But Hard Candy was just fucking awful. It was seriously ridicilous, and unbearable to watch for the most part.

blahh POS won best oringianl screenplay.. what about superbad people?!?!?
|
I liked it. I thought it was an adorable movie with really funny points (mom in the ultrasound room) and really sappy points (the tic-tacs in the mailbox)
But I'm a sucker for a chick flick |
