My CCBill checks didn't arrive AGAIN

For the second week. When I call them they say the same old "Everything is fine over here, we don't know of any problems."

And no, I am not going to pay $70 per week for a wire.

Sarah_Jayne 11-20-2007 03:57 PM

Mine make it to England like clockwork.

Fat Panda 11-20-2007 06:13 PM

sucking week in a row fucking late....

rowan 11-20-2007 06:21 PM

Got any old envelopes? Check the postmark and consult a calendar, if it's the same day of the week as now then you can be pretty sure it's outside of ccbill's control. (Even if they do differ it could still be a delay once the envelope has passed from ccbill's hands)

Kimo 11-20-2007 06:24 PM

god this is such a pain in the ass because my ccbill checks dont even come to where i am right now so its hard to keep track if they are showing up or not

grrrrrr

bdld 11-20-2007 07:11 PM

In Ccbill's defense, the postmarks are marked the dates they say. They should consider dropping at another location in Tempe. Late here as well. :Oh crap

V_RocKs 11-20-2007 08:21 PM

I feel for you.

Gnus 11-20-2007 08:33 PM

Usually we get ours on Saturdays but for last three weeks they have been arriving on Tuesday, then Wednesday, and looks we'll get it tomorrow so yeah they are roughly taking 3 more mailing days from when we normally get them.

Mine was due Thurs Nov 15... and here it is Tues Nov. 20 with no check.

Odd.

After Shock Media 11-20-2007 10:23 PM

Well last week I recieved that weeks as well as the weeks before (so 6 checks all on one day, and 3 postmarked 10.29) and then I got three more checks today.

Guessing the post office is screwing around. Cause I also was one of those waiting forever for the 10/14 check.

all ccbill? If so, why no merge? Sorry for being nosy.

latinasojourn 11-20-2007 10:39 PM

webcash was dead reliable back in 1998, until they started doing late mailings.
and so was DMR
and so was globill
and so was ibill

i have a hunch total adult revenues are down right now.

and it does not take too much imagination to understand that a big processor may need to stagger checks out to solve a temporary cash flow issue.

Interesting.

But I thought thats what the "hold" was for?

Finike 11-21-2007 02:16 AM

I was told the post mark is put on by ccbill not the post office. So in theory they could be post dated one day and sent another.

Honestly 2 reasons.

First is 3 different companies.
Second reason, to damn lazy to just print out stats for each companies records and bounce the money around. So I would rather get seperate checks and check stubs for each company to keep my accounting super simple.

Not being nosey at all. Oh and even though it currently is three checks, each of those three checks are merged checks too. So for example on company A who gets a check, that check has about 20 or so accounts merged into it. Then on the same side that companies domains are in that companies name, and so forth. I just hate risking the possibility of comingling and I like to easily be able to tell where each company stands.

Jensen 11-21-2007 03:10 AM

First of all, the wire fee is $30. If you think that is to much a week, go with a monthly payout or when you reach an amount. All can be done.

Personally, the satisfaction of getting the wire every Tuesday like clockwork is worth a lot more than $30 for me.

Time is money, how much time do you spend worrying about your checks, how much time do you spend on gfy bitching about? How about the time it takes to drive to the bank, wait in line etc...

Wire fee = 30.00 ccbill plus 20.00 local bank times 3 for number of companies - 150.00 and at a yearly cost of 1800.00 not including 3 weeks a month of lost interest. Or roughly 40 weeks of no interest in a year.

Time spend worrying about the checks, its ccbill very little concern. Time spent on gfy for the updates during last three weeks maybe three minutes.

As you said time is money and 40 out of 52 weeks of lost interest is a lot of time. Then if I went weekly wire, well again that is a hell of a lot of money.

I am not living check to check. I trust ccbill. Then honestly if they ever go tits up those with wires just like the rest would get hit just as hard if not harder if they waited every 30 days cause in that instance the check people would of gotten more money out. Oh and there are helpful laws in regards to checks and I like having check stubs.

Though you can spend your money how you wish to. We all have been brow beatin about wires over and over again though.

jscott 11-21-2007 03:51 AM

Shoehorn, from what i understand, wires are $15 per wire, so if you set to get wired weekly should be only $15/week

and even better, i have my payouts set for monthly, so i pay $15/month on the wire fee

(i think, please correct me if i'm wrong)

Lamis 11-21-2007 04:10 AM

Is it impossible to believe that ccbill will pay with epassporte some day?

Sony 11-21-2007 04:28 AM

You get what you paid for. If you are to cheap to pay $30/mo to get your money on time and secure then just accept the risk your check may not be on time every week mostly due to postal services fault. This is why a wire cost and a check is almost free.

Is laughable to say CCBill needs to delay checks to cover their immediate cash needs. They are no.1 adult processor they make way too much money , they don't need to do dirty tricks with their partners.

UncutBucksMike 11-21-2007 08:58 AM

And not in today's mail once again. There's got to be something wrong somewhere!

I dont think it has anything to do with the post office either. For some odd reason CC-Bill's mail is not being treated as first class mail (1-3 day delivery) but instead 3-10 delivery. There are things they must do on their end to get that bulk rate of 34.3 cent such as pre sort and fees to be paid.

They obviously dont seem too concerned to get an answer from the postal service of what is causing the delay. I have a feeling late checks showing up whenever is going to be the norm from now on

MrPinks 11-21-2007 09:59 AM

I'm missing mine too. We are talking about the check for the pay period of the 28th, right?

I got a check today for PE 10/28, dated and post marked 11/13. I never noticed the reduced postage rate until you pointed it out.

I really think it has to be something with the post office they use. Holidays never slow other checks down to the degree that it does CCBill checks.

Same here.. strange that check for period end 10/21 was on time, but not 14th or 28th & won't be surpised if 11/04 is late too

MediaGuy 11-21-2007 11:12 AM

report from MontrealQuebecCanada: Checks arrive, on time, each time without weird delay...

Is your location the factor?

Or (I know, it might sound obvious) but did you check your main account Profile?
