**********The Live Earth Thread*************

Live Earth is being broadcast around the world today featuring over 100 musical acts performing on all 7 continents!

If you're in the USA the Bravo channel is airing it all day, with the networks picking it up in primetime. If you're in another country, check your local listings.

If you live on Teh Internets you can watch it live at:

www.liveearth.msn.com

I will be providing expert gay homosexual analysis of today's Bravo coverage as the day goes on..........

Are you watching because you care for the planet, or are you waiting to see Bono in tight leather pants?

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 08:23 AM

Update #1

Shakira can't sing when she performs live, and almost pulled a Janet Jackson style titty flash not once, but TWICE as she was gyrating around the stage with a black man like a $2 whore and lifting her shirt while doing it.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 08:36 AM

Update #2

Snow Patrol might not be a sexy bunch of men, and the guy that plays the drums kinda looks like a lesbian, but DAMN they kick ass performing live!

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 08:42 AM

Update #3

Genesis? Orly? I didn't even know they got back together? Oh well, they rocked!

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 08:50 AM

Update #4

Black Eyed Peas are sucking more dick than I do.
LAWDS MERCY when will it be over...........................

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 09:12 AM

Update #5

John Legend shouldn't take it slow, he should take it the fuck off the stage.
Awful!

mikeyddddd 07-07-2007 09:21 AM

I'm just waiting for the Gore haters to step in to rant about the concerts not being worthwhile since people are still starving in Africa despite Live Aid.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 09:23 AM

Update #6

But I won't cry for yesterday, there's an ordinary world,
Somehow I have to find.
And as I try to make my way to the ordinary world,
I will learn to survive.

Duran Duran is still thexy.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 09:32 AM

Update #7

The Earth has no emergency exits.

The Blue Man Group had an awesome short performance made just for Live Earth Day. Damn those guys are a creative bunch!

geeknik 07-07-2007 09:34 AM

Fuck Live Earth and fuck Al Gore.

Update #8

David Gray: Babylon. This is the first time I've heard him sing this song live, and it's even better than the recorded version. Outstanding.

Nothing better than a talented vocalist, his guitar, and a song he wrote himself. I just love acoustics.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 10:12 AM

Update #9

So Anthony Kiedis was wearing what could only be described as a "smock", which was pretty gay, ok really gay, but hey it's for Live Earth. Flea was shirtless as always which was kinda hot when he was younger but is becoming less appealing as the years go by. Oh well he's still got a better body than I do...... :Oh crap

The Red Hot Chili Peppers gave a great performance as always.

martinsc 07-07-2007 10:25 AM

the show in israel should start soon :D

Casa Nova 07-07-2007 10:25 AM

How about Enrique iglesias lol

And what the hell I wanna see shakira gyrating on stage! I missed it! Hopefully they replay it lol

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 10:26 AM

Update #10

I thought Garth Brooks retired forever and was never ever going to pick up the guitar again? I think I remember throwing a party a few years back to celebrate the fact I'd never have to hear him again?

Oh well, at least they had audio problems for the first 1/2 of the song and all you could hear was his guitar. That was a definite plus.

Was that a Christian Musics they were playing?

Cripe Mighty..............

Update #11

I usually like Linkin Park a lot, but this isn't the best performance I've ever seen them give.

Oh well, they were all hot and sweaty so that kinda made up for it....

Miguel T 07-07-2007 10:39 AM

Checking this out ;)
Thanks for the Updates!

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 10:42 AM

Update #12

LAWDS MERCY give some Africans some drums and it's on IT'S ON! Where'd I put my grass skirt?

Uh-oh, song #2....not good.....not good at all................... They brought out some white guy to be the lead singer? what What WHAT? I guess it has something to do with the end apartheid.......

Oh well, save teh Earths!

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 10:46 AM

Update #13

John Legend's back, and he's trying to pretend that he's Marvin Gay.

Hunnay, you're no Marvin Gay!

This is a perfect time to take a bathroom break and get some more Creme Soda (love teh Creme Sodas).

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 10:57 AM

Update #14

Corinne Bailey Rae, you go gurl with your bad self! Excellent vocals and that dress was to die for. Even her backup singers were dressed to perfection.

Class act all the way.

swampthing 07-07-2007 11:06 AM

earth to boyalley.

Update #15

Fresh out of rehab, Tom Chaplin did a hell of a job. I'm glad to see him clean and sober, he's starting to look soo much better. Looks like he's lost a ton of weight too.

Good job Keane!

The reason she can't sing live is because she's not lip syncing like all of those other chicks....she performs...she's dancing across the stage etc and still trying to have enough breath to hit notes.

starpimps 07-07-2007 11:14 AM

did linkin park and enrique perform yet
thats all that matters
lol

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:17 AM

Update #16

BREAKING NEWS: Talentless black gangsters have apparently taken over the stage in Japan. What they did with the talented musicians that should be performing on Live Earth is unknown at this point.

Has anyone ever heard of an inner city gang called "xzibit". :disgust

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:19 AM

Update #17

AH Mah Niggah!!!!!!!!!! Snoop Dog did his thang and did it well.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:22 AM

Update #18

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:29 AM

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:32 AM

Update #20

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:37 AM

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:53 AM

Update #23

KT Tunstall's silver stockings are god awful and the audio levels on the mics are fucked so you can hear her background singers more than you can hear her.

I think the big black horse shit on the cherry tree she's trying to sing about.

Train wreck in progress.....................

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 11:59 AM

Update #24

KT Tunstall is still on stage, and I was wrong, her stockings are metallic gold not silver. And yes, that's metallic gold eye shadow that she has on to match.

Moral of this story: Womens don't take fashion tips from KT Tunstall

LAWDS MERCY she's trying to get a wave going in the audience now, and it's not working at all. Not at ALL!

Now she's telling people to "eat soil" to help save the planet. No joke.

Time to go get more of teh creme sodas...........

baddog 07-07-2007 12:06 PM

Due to this thread I turned on the show for a couple minutes.

Take Back Sunday should take public speaking (Al Gore: he has a firm handshake).

The group that played after their inspirational talk forced me to turn it off.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 12:09 PM

Update #25

KT Tunstall is gone, Duran Duran is back, thank goodness.

No no no Notorious!

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 12:15 PM

Update #26

Red Baron french bread pepperoni pizza tastes good with teh creme sodas.

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 12:18 PM

Update #27

"Take It Back Sunday" should take it back to a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't watching TV.

This is giving my blubbercunt a yeast infections.........

BoyAlley 07-07-2007 12:30 PM

Update #28

"Take It Back Sunday" is officially the worst band I've ever heard in my entire life.

Teh worst evers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: My cat is howling, I don't think that's natural.
