What is the last sizeable lifestyle change you have made?

When is the last time you made a conscious choice to make a lifestyle change in your life? For me it has to be deciding about two months okay to only eat meat once a week at the most. For no reason other than just health and taste.

Yours?

jscott 05-23-2007 05:32 AM

I quit drinking coffee, hoping it cuts calories, and spares my teeth from turning brown and crusty

....everytime i smell coffee though, i get kinda pissed off and miss my coffee drinking days

BAKO 05-23-2007 05:33 AM

About a month ago i decided to change my eating habbits and i started working out again :)

LadyMischief 05-23-2007 05:42 AM

I found out I was gluten intolerant and I had to eliminate all bread/pasta etc from my diet.. That was a conscious choice, I've never been a big carbs fan anyways. I made a pretty conscious choice to spend at least an hour of my day walking too, when I committed to two dogs :) Man is my butt getting tight! haha

Michaelious 05-23-2007 05:50 AM

MY GF moved over from the US and we unoffically live together, she loves healthy food and the gym and is trying to lose weight...so thats my new lifestlye

MattO 05-23-2007 05:52 AM

I quit drinking all sodas and ingesting unneeded sugars about 2 months ago.
I feel less "puffy" now.

I used to drink Coke as my main liquid, now just water.

Also I don't eat any snacks any more.

Fuck I want some chocolate.

divine116 05-23-2007 06:13 AM

sherie 05-23-2007 06:25 AM

Seeing that it occured to me recently that I wasn't immortal, I have decided to change my lifestyle and eat heatlhier and workout 6-7 days a week...I have also toned down my partying....It's been tough now that summer is here and we have some of the best patio's to hangout on, but it's for the best. I feel great and I certainly do NOT miss waking up with a hangover!!

cool1 05-23-2007 06:41 AM

A couple of years ago, I took sole custody of my 2 kids from my last marrage, that changed my lifestyle quite a bit.

DaniBear 05-23-2007 06:45 AM

Startin' my site... pretty big step 4 me!

gornyhuy 05-23-2007 06:57 AM

Starting in February I added early morning workouts to my routine 6 days a week (more or less)... learning to get my ass to bed at night and wake up on time to be consistent was a pretty big change.

Peaches 05-23-2007 08:51 AM

A year and a half ago I shifted to a lower carb / no added sugar type lifestyle. I lost 30 pounds doing it, and I continue to this day to keep the carbs at very reasonable levels. It's nice to be back to the size I was when I was 25.

carol.prime 05-23-2007 10:29 AM

just last week i decided not to eat rice because im on a diet...

3 years ago this month, I moved from one side of the country to the other, with no place in mind to live. Just sold everything and moved.

Planning on doing it again soon. At least from one house to another.

v4 media 05-23-2007 10:37 AM

Going to the Gym and doing karate, I eat healthy, so keep my weight down, but was not fit, So now I do 6 hours a week, been doing for 5 months.

Pornwolf 05-23-2007 10:38 AM

BT is getting Diesel! Haha Good stuff bro.

The most significant change for me is cutting my cholesterol intake. It's surprising how closely you have to watch what you eat to do that.

coffee doesn't have that many calories or did you sugar it all up?

ServerGenius 05-23-2007 10:40 AM

I decided to eat only Argentinian and Japanese Wagyu beef primarely because it
tastes so much better than any other type of beef a nice side effect is that
argentinian beef doesn't come from bio-industry produced meat.

Evil Chris 05-23-2007 12:54 PM

In order of the most recent.

Decided at 52 to have another child. One of my better decisions.

Moved to Czech. Was tough at first but good decision.

Married Eva. Best decision I ever made and it changed my life totally.

All the above changed my life.
