They wouldn't execute them. They would be asking for war regardless of whether they were guilty or not. And after they got hit with more sanctions today, they aren't going to do anything that extreme.
|
It said they may go to trial and if so the sentence would be death.May doesnt mean thats going to happen. No one is going to get killed this is a bargaining chip.

Stupid like funding and providing terrorists with explosives and money to kill American and British soldiers? Stupid like defying the entire world and making nuclear weapons? |
One thing I find kind of humorous though. They claim these 15 Brits willingly confessed to a "blatant aggression" against Iran.
There's no way in hell they admitted that. They probably don't even know who's water they were in. So this begs the question, what did the Iranians do to these Brits to force the "confession"? |

of course im not in favor of any of them and neither are the majority of us, but that doesnt mean those are stupid things. |

A lot of people are pissed off at Iran anyway. Who's waters these soldiers were in is still unclear. The Iranians are probably trying to make a statement saying "hey, we'll take your guys too". But then what? What's really going to happen? A trade is unlikely. Concessions are unlikely. This is only going to piss off even more of the Western world. Now they're just flipping their finger. |

Also lets see the leader of the free world calls you part of the axis of evil , invades your neighbor for no reason but the little crazy korean who makes threats nothing happens to him. Why because he has nukes.Pakastan, who has also funded terror also probably hiding bin laden nothing happens to them why they have nukes. The nuke club gets you different treatment. |

for the record i was against the war in iraq, but actually am in fact in favor of military action against iran. however its much more difficult as a result of our actions in the war we took on for iraq. there are many many things that are now factored in that weren't before that put us in a fucked position. |

I'm just asking. I'm really not sure myself. It seems pretty odd. If the US captured say 15 members of the Taliban and within hours they ALL confessed... I'm thinking people would either presume torture or a forged confession. |

What the fuck are you trying to prove to people on this board with your continual rant of shit? That you can cut, copy and paste bullshit? Think for yourself, you dipshit. I attest I know nothing. And by that, I know more than you. |

And here it comes:
Iranian student groups called yesterday for the 15 detainees to be held until US forces released five Revolutionary Guards captured in Iraq earlier this year. |

"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else." "Teddy Roosevelt in the Kansas City Star", 149 May 7, 1918 I guess he was a traitor too sheep. |

The Saudi's fund the minority Sunni Iraqi people, some are insurgents, yes. They also are helping out and are trying to create a more peaceful Middle East, while Iran is not. Both have oil. So what's the big difference? One is helping, one is not. |
