Personally I dont see what is wrong with Guba. I make decent money from news groups.....that reminds me must dust off the News Group Spam-o-matic and fill up all the groups with my pictures.

Ive always thought that Guba - and the thousands of copycats that have existed out there since the mid 1990s, were smart business people and have always loved the newsgroups principle - its what the internet started as

That and I can load my 30G pod with so many MP3s for free I couldnt ever begin to listen to them all :)

We had it blocked a long time ago. It's the newgroups and the posters that keep the shit out there. Guba just makes things easier and I'm not saying I like it.

It sucks that Guba makes its money on the back of other peoples content but in all honesty this is the direction the entire internet is moving in. How many of those who are anti guba can say hand on heart that they do not own any illegal mp3s, divxs, dvds, or have never watched a copyrighted video on youtube or anywhere else. I know I do and therefore I have stopped bashing guba I shall just continue to resist promoting them. The genie is out of the bottle on this one, someone somewhere will ALWAYS be making money from other peoples content. Yes it sucks but this is the reality of the situation.
