Frankly, I think the mail system in Canada might be better than your US postal service, and you claimed you sent me the cheque twice... I never miss any snail mail from anyone else but miraculously from you.

And about fed-ex? You think I'm gonna pay you extra to send me a cheque I've been waiting for 2 and a half years? I would rather prefer to expose Amateur Pages and you.

I've even received quite a bit of email of people that had the same problem with you... they gave up... guess that's what you've been counting on.

you do bizz with amateur pages, so deal with them, not 3000 other webmasters, you will probably get better results dealing with them personaly

shit happens with every sponsor on occasion and your emails were bouncing.

Has TAG2 been banned? Is this blatant censorship? WTF is going on here? Sounds like the guy had a legitimate gripe to me and only brought it to a public forum because he was unable to effect a satisfactory resolution.

he in canada? mail system here is pretty decent. there is the odd slip up and something takes a bit longer but i've never had mail lost before. 99% of my mail gets to me ontime.

i think the guy should get paid, i'd be pissed too if months went by and no cheque showed up.

Okay so let me get this straight. Amateur pages pay some webmasters but not all. And if you act like an asshole, which in my part of the world is legal, you don't get your cheque.

how can you correct a situation if you cant contact the people?

he is not the only webmaster who uses it. i am sure there are people that get 1,000's of dollars a pay period that get their checks.

remember these companies have 20 or 30,000 webmasters to keep track of.

i learned this the hard way too.

I like that idea. Toooo many people have lost the art of kissing up to the person who signs their checks. Maybe withholding a little money will smarten them up.

It's only theft if they came to you and bought pre-paid ads. If you came to them they have NO legal obligation to pay you. Only reason they do is so that you CONTINUE to send them profitable traffic.

btw,I don't use the program myself but there has been 100 posts threads on other boards complaining about getting termed and not paid for odd reasons

they have a website up for people to sign up. it doesn't matter who goes to who, both sides are in a contract. its not a formal contract, but i guarantee u that it would hold up in court.

if a guy's an asshole, then this is what you do, you 'fire' him, and pay him for all he's owed. simple.

good luck on an intangible - and the 'terms and conditions' usually offer the paysite a legal reason not to pay you. You;re prettty much dead in the water.

The Basis of ANY paysite program is PRODUCE or don't get paid. If your traffic is worth anything people (like lensman) will pay you casue they want you to contunue to make money for them. If it's worth a lot - he'll do whatever he can to make you continue.
If they don't pay you they don't want YOUR traffic. Don't send them any more. Simple? Yes - do you understand it? - I doubt it.

We didn't say we wouldn't pay him. Sounds like a check was lost in the mail. It wasn't followed up on. Sometimes, you gotta keep emailing or calling until these stupid things get resolved.

It's go for paying the phone bill for the 800 number for webmasters who AREN'T too lazy to call when the post office loses a check.

hey lens, I know this is probally too much trouble to check, but I'm actually willing to wager money if you checked your bank records the check was CASHED and he just didn't realize who it was from...........

with a click through program where they say u'll never be removed for low productivity they should pay even if the guy's ratio is 0:100,000. obviously that kind of ratio would never happen, but u get the picture. the paysite takes the risk of no sign ups, and the webmaster is guaranteed payment without having to worry about ratios.

as long as the guy doesn't break any rules he should be paid regardless of ratios.
