My mother is having her eye removed today.

Today is the day. Has to be at the hospital in about 6 1/2 more hours.

I wonder if she is able to sleep tonight. Don't think I could.

AaronM 11-30-2005 02:06 AM

There is a small part of me wants to wish for your mother to get some good shut eye.....But I'm not sure that I could say such a thing to such a close friend and not offend him under these circumstances.....

So, I will refrain from posting such a play on words and stick with the more PC reply of:

Good luck to your mother, I wish her a speed recovery.

iv@n 11-30-2005 02:06 AM

how old is she?

Shit, half the time I don't remember my own age. Probably because I rarely act it. :1orglaugh

It is an out-patient procedure. I am sure I will stop by the house sometime.

I have gone years without even knowing how old I was.

I had a birthday a few years ago when I realized that I had calculated my age wrong for a year or two, and had to make a two year jump over night. Think I went from 41 to 43 in a day.

hmmm, so in 20 years I am going to be cool about the idea that I am losing an eye? Interesting.

What age do you figure that kicks in?

baddog 11-30-2005 03:51 AM
