Live Cam Software Solutions?
Can anyone recommend a live cam software solution? We've got our own
models, our own traffic, etc. We want to build out our own domain, and feed it ourselves. We've looked at 2 Much (which looks pretty good, but has some things that make us pause), and we're waiting to hear back from Camz about licensing their software. Are there any other good purchasable solutions out there? |
hit me up I have a great solution

2much would be my choice.

But 2much is very respectable competitors of ours |
2much.net are scammers, don't ever go with them. I got ripped off a long time ago, the owner mark is a worthless individual. He degraded me, and i will do whatever i can to degrade his reputation and business.

I've never dealt with them personally...But I think thats a little harsh. But I dont know. I know that their software is a fair competitor but just not the same league as ours from the feedback we've gotten from ours versus theres as well as the difference in features. But i've never heard of them being scammers or anything along those lines. $14,600 to get unlimited models with them and its not open source at that level. $10,000 unlimited models, open source for our limited time offer with us. Just feels like a nobrainer :winkwink: |
Hi GroundZero,
This is Mark Prince from www.2Much.net. You can read more about our solution on our site, and you can also try the live demo at LiveCamNetwork.com. I'm sorry that Chaldoray (whoever he is) has chosen to post is negative experience with us to you. Regardless, I think that you will find that our solution is one of the best. Ours is not based on Java as someone pointed out. Java is ancient technology. We use MPEG 4 and stream right to Windows Media. If you would like to try our system, you can do so risk free for 30 days; no deposit of any kind required. You can even try out system side-by-side with others. While I'm not ready to say that ours is the BEST (After all, there are alots of other great companies out there), I think we hold our own. LiveCamNetwork supports 30 frames per second, sound, and now, Hi-Def Video and Dolby 5.1 Audio. And of course, it is true pay-per-second billing. Bye for now, Mark Prince, CEO 2Much Internet Services Inc. http://www.2much.net Toll Free: 1.866.662.6824 ps: Chaldoray, don't hate us. We still love you dude. |
I forgot one thing:
You can try the demo at any time by going to http://www.LiveCamNetwork.com.
Have a good weekend! Mark Prince |

If you guys are out of beta with the windows media then i'd have to take a look at your features once again. Like i said, you guys are strong competition. The fact that we offer open source version I think is a sepperating point for our two scripts. We respect you guys very much though :thumbsup |
Mark, you know who i am. Answer your email, and stop bothering me!
|
Chaldoray has talked to me off and on via icq for some time.
I dont really know mark but i'm well aware of his product. Whats this all about? |

My personal experience with 2much.net was horrible. Yeah they built me a site about a year ago, which looked horrible, a template of their site with just my domain name. It cost $12k, but i paid $5k upfront, on a oral agreement, remember not "VERBAL." I was paying monthly, i made money off ccbill, and they never paid me, they put that towards the monthly. I was basically working for pennies. So i said forget it and cancel my account, now they are asking for their money back. Which is ridiculous, they took it to a debt collector; i had my lawyer write them a letter about 10 months ago, and they ignored it. Stop the debt collector, now that i replied to this thread and said negative things. Mark from 2much.net had the debt onfile again, he is quite funny. They bribed me!
Want to know what's even more funny? When i worked for my old boss, we were purchasing about buying their software. I was the one who found it, i quit from that job, and bought the software. Then my old boss bought the software, i even brang him $12k+ more. Then they even had the nerve to hi-jack my domain name babesoncams.com; because i transfered the nameservers to their nameservers. I had it with directnic, i forgot my password, email from formatting. Then i couldn't get my domain back, so they kept it! They are big thieves. Just me experience. |

Interesting... Chaldoray has been a decent client of ours and although there are 5 sides to every story here on GFY...this deffinitely is interesting and i'd be interested in hearing if anyone else has had this experience and also would like to hear mark's side? oh well...we're nice to our clients :winkwink: But in all seriousness...i'd like to hear Mark's side as well |

What is the difference between Oral and Verbal agreement ?
Sounds to me like you stoped paying for a product and now you are pissed they took it away and are trying to collect a debt. I dont get it ? |

I payed for the software, i was making money, they never paid me, they put it all towards the monthly fee. I wasn't making any money, i would of made more working at mcdonalds. So i said take down my site and forget it and give me my refund. Because the owner said i was going to be paid, and i never got paid. I was paying monthly, and everytime the interest went up. I was 18 at the time, he threatned me by staying if i never paid, he would tell my parents, and put a lien on my parents house. When my parents have nothing to do with it; when i came at him with a lawyer, my lawyer sent him a letter. Then he stopped replying, stopped the debt. He even hi-jacked my domain, that thief. Now that i replied to this thread, he sent the debt again. He is ridiculous |
Those type of contracts are VALID here in Washington...
hmmm, i'm not sure where i stand on this.... You agreed to pay 1200/mo right? So when they took your ccbill....was it because you didnt pay? |

LiveCamNetwork, 2Much, and Chaldoray
Hello Everyone, Hello Ray "Chaldoray"
Chaldoray, I fail to see why you are still so upset with our company and the service we tried to provide to you. If you recall, you could not afford to purchase our system, so we allowed you, despite your poor credit rating at the time, to purchase our LCN 1.9 system by paying for it in monthly installments. You were also refused an account from CCBill for some reason, therefore we allowed you to use our own CCBill sub account. We went forward, and built your site to your satisfaction (I have the email). After using it for a short time and realizing that you had no resources to put into it (Didn't your Mom demand that you get another job?), you failed to make your monthly payments. There were many discussions as I recall, but month after month you failed to make even the smallest payment. 2Much Internet Services inc, founded in 1996, is for the most part, a company that specializes in adult video streaming and pay-per-minute solutions, and is a non face-to-face programming service which unfortunately, can give rise to problems such as this. Like any business, we require revenue to survive. We provided all of the services we said we would, and you Ray", failed to live up to your end of the agreement. Since you didn't pay for the services we were providing to you, we discontinued the service. You have left a debt of over $7,000.00 USD which still remains unpaid to this day. This matter has been given over to our legal department and a collection agency along with all of your account statements, E-Mail messages and contracts. And just so you know, I also showed our attorneys your note about how we "hijacked" your domain name. It is not up to us to remember the password for your domain name. All you had to do was to log-in to your registrar (wasn't it Network Solutions?), follow their SIMPLE instructions to recover your password, and then change your DNS to any other name server on the Internet. It is comments like the one above (about hijacking) that make for stupid flame wars and incidents on boards and in law courts that are just a waste of everyone's money and time. (FYI: We showed your "hijack" and "thief" comments to our legal department. Expect a letter from them in the near future). 2Much employees 25 people who all worked very hard for you when you were our customer. (Do you even recall everything that Cheli / Luna did for you? Do you remember how Tracy extended your credit again and again? Ray. I am sorry that we could not do business with you any further. I realize that you purchased our license in the hopes of starting a new business to gain some financial freedom from your parents. It is too bad that you bit off more than you could chew at the time. If you do plan to remain in this kind of business, I would encourage you do try other "free" ways of getting started. Perhaps start with a simply TGP gallery. Learn what it takes to promote a website. Learn what it takes to deal with talent. Learn from the experts like you can find on boards like this, or at Trade shows like Internext. I encourage you to continue to use resources like GFY and others if you want to return to the adult arena, but I also encourage you to stop the trash talk now. Everyone that uses boards like this are not only very smart, but almost always offer the valuable lessons that they have learned to other people like you, free of charge, just by asking them. Trashing a company and the people behind it just because you could not pay your bills or lost your domain name password will get you no where but hated, ignored, and maybe even in court. Kind Regards, Mark Prince, CEO 2Much Internet Services Inc. Streaming Media and Billing Solutions (Now with Hi-Def Video and 5.1 Sound Support!) Thanks for clearing that up Mark :thumbsup
After I heard the complete reasoning I started to think it might be along those lines. Chaldoray...you've been a decent client and a nice guy...but there better be more to this ? |
Verbal is verbal. Written is a contract on paper.

In the live adult cam space, that's about as sweet as it gets. ExShot (Japanese cam site) also has great feeds, One2One and yes, 2much is right up there as well. In any event, touch base with Mark as he certainly knows the business. :pimp |
[QUOTE=Kevsh]I'm not a 100% expert on streaming technology but does Flash support DRM? I have heard that there are some security concerns using a Flash-based solution. Although Java is far from perfect ... check out PrivateFeeds (Java-based delivery) for a demo of broadband capabilities (click on the Broadband link under the Video window)

You've got to be kidding me? I have all the emails you sent me saved. You threatned me, by stating you were going to put a lien on my parents property, which you have no right to do. I intended to pay, because you said you would help with marketing, until i start making money, then you would stop helping me with marketing and i was on my own. Which did not happen, my first month, i did my own marketing, made some money off ccbill. Then you never paid me. So i said shut my account, then that's when you threatned me. My lawyer sent your collection agency a letter back in january, and they had 10 days to respond or the file would be disputed and canceled. So that's what happened, the file got canceled. Anyways, i don't have time for this useless stuff anymore. Just because i said some negatives thing about your company, you sent another letter yesterday from a different collection agency. I thought you were a professional business man, so take it like a man. Everyones company gets bashed all the time. Another thing, for your information, i have learned a lot from these boards. You never intended to help me, you just took my money. Just because i was 18 at the time, you thought you could take advantage of me, trust me that will never happen. I am much more sagacious than that. |

From all i've seen and heard, at least someone in the know has issues with each technology so it's not a clear choice for many. To go back to the original post, I'd seriously recommend providing feeds as a studio to some of the sites looking (and there are many!). That way you can test your studio, setup, software and of course talent. You'll get a great idea at how much income you can expect, what price points work and what sites your models do the best on. Armed with that 411 and a few months of hands-on, you'll be in much better shape to launch your own site - and save a lot of initial costs (ie lost money) up front while you learn the ins and outs. |
BTW, if you'd like to end the past, you know my email.
|
BTW, i never signed a contract. So just get over it, i don't like your company. Leave it at that! I can base my opinion, that's why there's free speech in america. Sorry i don't know your canadian laws.

The End
Ray,
I'm sorry, but $7000 is a huge debt, and we have no plans to let your debt go. If want to pay your bill before this situatio ruins your credit, you are welcome to do so. (Bad credit will wreck your chances of buying a car or a house later in life, at least at any decent rate) In fact we will even return your account to active as long as you can keep up the payments. If paying of $7000 in 1 year is too hard for you, we will gladly extend it to 2 years. All we ask is that you make your payments on time. We were never interested in "Only" selling you a license. Any good business person will tell you that the best business is repeat business. We make money by not only selling you the original license, but by selling you additional services later, and by your optional use of our Mbase system which allows your models to appear on other sites, and to populate your site with other live models from other sites as a way to generate even more revenue for you. We spent so many hours trying to help you because we thought we would make additional revenue with you later. We trusted you to market your website, to add models to your site, to learn how it all worked. Not only did you not do this, but you wasted our time, you left an unpaid bill of $7000, and now you are trashing us. And even worse, instead of working on your site and learning how to promote, you instead spent alot of your time enjoying yourself in VIP chat with models like Violet and Serena. That's right! Over $750.00 of the $7000 that you owe is you giving yourself money in your own chat account to enjoy your own private little "VIP" chats with girls from LiveCamNetwork.com. Not only were you not paying your bill, but you were stealing money from yourself! So yes, we have hired a collection agency. If you want to settle this, call our accounting department at 514-285-9325 during normal business hours and make arrangements with them, or deal with the credit bureau. It is your choice. so we allowed you, despite your poor credit rating at the time
--------------- Mark, I would watch my words very closely when talking about a person's credit rating, score, debt, etc. I don't know if your in Canada or what but in the USA this can be a violation of the FCRA and could cost you a ton more then the 7k or whatever you claim he owes you. You have already claimed in this thread that you gave this person credit, which means you are the lendor and have already (mabey 2 times) sent in this debt to a CA, if so you can't mention this debt at all, you can never mention his credit worthyness in public, private, etc. If he seeks counsel on this - you will probably have to settle or fight it :( |

Mark, i am not paying a company that bribed me. You can threaten to ruin my credit, which will not happen. I will be more than happy to contact my lawyer again, wait... I am going to contact her, and tell her about this other false letter you sent again. I have proof of you lying, both letters say a different price. Take care! |
