BLOG » Building an Empire... Looking for Partners.

I'm looking for partners who want
to work together to build an empire.

Not looking for investors... so keep your money.

Read on...

How many of you have your own personal blog?

Thought about starting a blog?

Use blogs purely for generating traffic?

Still wonder what a blog is? :) (don't feel left out)

I'm launching many blog ventures next year including:

? SexBlog.com
? PornBlog.com
? NewsBlog.com
? LiveBlog.com
? TVBlog.com
? SportsBlog.com
? LifeBlog.com
? LoveBlog.com
? TownBlog.com
? RealEstateBlog.com
? CityBlog.com
? CountryBlog.com
? JobBlog.com
? DJBlog.com
? DreamBlog.com
? FetishBlog.com
? DreamBlog.com
and 300+ blog targeted-domains

A few of my future blog services:
? BlogHost.com
? BlogIndustry.com
? BlogGroups.com
? BlogRank.com
? BlogDollars.com
etc...

I'd like to see who is interested in networking, discussing blogs, and building blog sites/services together. Partners who want to work with me to launch a future blog empire. Some of my domains were registered back in 2002 and I've been waiting for the world to catch up. Other domains I've recently acquired for thousands of dollars. I'm very serious about this venture and I know it's the right time to launch. Why? Even though there is competition out there, blog startups are launching and getting funded by venture capitalists everyday. The recent US Elections have fueled the Blog industry worldwide. Many of my friends, family and associates are asking me "What's a Blog?" - the time is right.

I'm not looking for investors, though I won't turn funding offers away. I'm looking for partners who wish to trade sweat-for-equity and knowledge-for-equity and in return get a stake in the venture. Use your skills, services & expertise to trade for a slice of the pie.

Everyone who has something to offer is invited to participate. If you can offer:

? Design
? Traffic
? Hosting
? Domains
? Content
? Software
? Programming
? Security
? Knowledge
? Marketing
? Sponsorship
etc... you get the point. :)

If you're wondering why I'm looking for partners, it's because I know an empire can't be built alone. With 100 people aggressively working together to accomplish the same goal, we're guaranteed to cross the finish line and winning the race is possible.

I'll be promoting my blog network across my 10,000+ domains and blanketing my sites next year with advertising. I'll be promoting them heavily on my flagship site OFFICIAL.com when it launches next year. I've already discussed the venture with corporate sponsors, VC and other high profile contacts. Now I'm looking to build a team.

thats great. I'll share more details soon.

I'm also looking for bloggers who want to publish/contribute to the various niche blogs to bring their expertise, ideas and publish daily updates. For example, if you want to start a blog for you city, then I'll set one up for you at:

yourcity.cityblog.com

for your fetish:

subdomain.fetishblog.com

etc...

obviously the more you contribute, the larger your stake.

Taboo 12-03-2004 02:08 AM

if some of you can't figure out what to contribute, then start with simply adding content to SexBlog.com (or any topic you love)

i.e.

I'll set you up with your own subdomain at:
yourcontent.SEXBLOG.com

I'll have all the blogging tools setup for you to update daily or more often.

Greg Jacobson 12-03-2004 02:21 AM

Don't you want ExamBlog.com as well? :Graucho

Like I said, looking for more domain partners. I've got the tools/sponsors for you to use if you join the network. :)

email me details and what else you have to offer.

A cohesive network of blogs is an interesting idea.

How does the partnership work? Is the end goal of the partnership that each partner gets traffic or revenue or both?

LiveDose 12-03-2004 02:33 AM

I won't bother looking for any decent blog domains anymore...LOL

Theo 12-03-2004 02:35 AM

Marketing blog sounds appealing to me

Both, with stronger focus on revenue. Plus some partners who contribute alot will get a stake in the business and share in any liquidity events.

Many blogs will have paid membership sections and many of the free services (hosting, ranking, groups, etc) will obviously have upsells.

all suggestions & ideas are welcome.

but now you can focus that energy into building the network. which is much more exciting & rewarding. :)

sounds very interesting, I'll shoot you an email later on today!

Taboo 12-03-2004 02:53 AM

fyi, MICROSOFT owns MoBlog.com (mobile blogging). They wouldn't answer my emails to buy the domain (LOL). However, this year I acquired the domain LiveBlog.com which has more lasting appeal in my eyes. LiveBlog will feature audio & video blogging tools and allow people to update blogs from webcams, mobile video phones, etc.

Analysts say that nearly 10% of Americans are blogging. If anyone takes the time to read the article on Blogging in China, you'll see that BLOGs are part of a new global revolution.

Analysts also say that the term BLOG will stand the test of time and be like the term EMAIL. :thumbsup

KRL 12-03-2004 02:55 AM

Nice domains Taboo.

:thumbsup

Mr. Marks 12-03-2004 02:55 AM

I believe webmasterlabor.com provides that service for dirt cheap.

I'm looking forward to it.

and thanks to everyone who already emailed me. I will update you all with more details. also, keep in mind, as I mentioned before, you can also contribute by starting your own blog published exclusively within the network.

or contribute your services:

I can always use more designers, programmers, hosting partners (hint hint), etc...

X37375787 12-03-2004 02:57 AM

"Blog" as big as "Email"? That's highly doubtful in my opinion. I don't see the human urge to be sharing information with the rest of the world at a pace as Emailing has set it... perhaps Blogs will surpass Forums as we know them today, but Email?

There's just a lack of privacy, and people hold their privacy sacred.

Perhaps BLOG won't be as big as EMAIL, and yes more people will be emailing than those blogging, but the "term" BLOG is expected to have longevity. I remember when my parents asked me what "email" was. LOL. Now they're asking me what a BLOG is. And lots of people have a insatiable desire to share their life, ideas, views with the world and the numbers testify to it. Blogging had a huge impact on the recent Election and can't be ignored. Some people risk their jobs by blogging, others are risking their freedom.

keep in mind, some bloggers aren't sharing their personal lives. Some are blogging as a way to share their views, reviews, opinions and news. And when it comes down to privacy, there are plenty of people who want to be a celebrity, even if it's on a small scale by publishing their own blog.

Of course the Reality TV craze coupled with the "herd mentality" will lead more people to blog.

Plus, I plan to do my best to make sure that everyone learns "How To Blog" (HowToBlog.com will be part of the network) :)

KRL 12-03-2004 03:16 AM

great, now you got me on another domain safari.

Damn straight Equi, this shit goes fast these days.

I had one recently that got snagged while I was entering my info for the transaction.

I was so pissed off. Couldn't believe someone out there found it at the exact same time.

KRL & EQUI... you're both fast... and I'm glad.

there's no way I can get them all, the subjects are endless. but all can join the network, which is what I'll be focusing on while you guys buy more domains.

so what did you pick up? feel free to share.

I recommend people register blog domains for their local city, town, favorite sport or passion/fetish as they may be all gone soon.

endless possibilities and a great vein to tap.

domain diving is an addiction. I just passed the 11K mark and I don't want anymore. :)
