Chris Stewart is no longer the manager of CJ Bucks but he rocks - Details inside

Chris Stewart is no longer the manager of CJ Bucks. He?s a great guy and a pleasure to work with. Not only do I have no hard feelings but I actually recommend him to anyone who is looking for help running their program. He?s worked hard and always been loyal. He?s just another victim of the global outsourcing problem. We?ve given him a nice severance package and wish him all the best.

That said, all CJ Bucks operations have been outsourced to Panama. Please contact Paul Dinin ([email protected]) for all support and related webmaster issues. The company in Panama has hired many new people for CJ Bucks and the velocity of development is about to increase dramatically. Expect great things.

Good luck Chris in your future endeavours.

And best of luck to CJBucks.

Whitney

What all was outsourced??? Everything??

BRISK 10-29-2004 03:07 PM

Rick, what made you choose Panama as an outsource destination as opposed to other typical outsource countries?

Sarabi 10-29-2004 03:13 PM

Nice way to treat a "loyal, hard working, highly recommended" employee.

So you admit outsourcing is a "problem", yet you throw one of your best workers out the door and add to the problem? Don't know why anyone living in the US would want to continue to support cjbucks :2 cents:

bigdog 10-29-2004 03:34 PM

big props to cjbucks, at least your honest about the outsourcing

Tipsy 10-29-2004 03:53 PM

Good luck to all concerened and I just hope that the move doesn't come back and bite CJ in the ass. But then so many companies have to find that out the hard way it seems.

Chris I wish you the best bud. Great guy to work with and talk to !

Alex 10-30-2004 09:55 AM

Am i the only one who finds this extremely horrible.

If the guy is such a great guy like you and everyone says.

Then why fire him and give him job to some cheap labor worker in panama who will work for half the price and make you more money...

Err wait. I just answered my own question. More money for you.

It's called business. You should try it some time.

Chris 10-30-2004 10:53 AM

out sourced all the jobs?

:(

I rather keep my country employed even it cost me more than outsource it and put good people out of work :(

If you consider it a problem...why would you contribute to said problem?

Just curious.

Outsourcing => your company remains competitive, and therefore continues to bring money into your country

Not outsourcing => your company loses it's edge, profits fall, other (foreign) companies eventually drive you out of business

There is no alternative.

No offence, but that was tacky.
