WOW! I finally just saw Farenheit 911 and.......

if i were an american citizen heading to the polls on nov 2nd, i would want to see this documentary and the amazing facts that are revealed. thanks to the very ammendment that protects us, and the very same ammendment that the administration is trying to squeeze the life out of as we speak; no one was able to stop the cold hard facts from being revealed to the world. you bet your ass the bush administration did everything they could to shut michael moore up next to killing him. but the constitution protected him. he's probably lucky to be alive at this point. normally, i am the biggest political critic of documentaries designed to smeer someone for political reasons, but gees, the cold hard facts and history, not to mention the public documents uncovered, definitely do not put GWB in the best position right now. i could normally argue some kind of conspiracy to affect the political outcome, but even my political ass can't stand up and argue that in this situation. this film does to GWB what the bloody glove did to Oj in that murder case years ago. i'm glad i waited this long to see it, becasue the events over the past 3 months drive the message home more clearly than had i seen it when it first came out. WOW. see this film folks. i hope you're not bush believer when you start watching this feature, because you might have a life changing experience in your lazy boy watching this baby!

DavidVH 10-08-2004 11:31 PM

it was alright. people just hate michael moore no matter what he does.

What worries me is that the US President has so much financial involvement with a foriegn power.

The Presidency can't be bought? Tell that to the Saudis.

bringer 10-08-2004 11:50 PM

michael moore has great editing techniques, ill give him that. he cuts out anything that might weaken his arguement and has a great way of controlling the mindless. he complains how the media uses fear to get people to conform, but it is him that has mastered this technique.

LiveDose 10-08-2004 11:59 PM

that movie was lame.

J$tyle$ 10-09-2004 12:07 AM

Don't believe EVERYTHING you hear, see, or read by anyone in the media INCLUDING Michael Moore. Clever editibg, misquotes, and general statements taken out of context abound my friend!

That's not to say there is not an element of truth to SOME aspects of what is reported or "documented" - but you gotta see that MOST news today is BIASED ... and that fat fuck Moore is BIASED too!

:)

Both may touch upon FACTS but c'mon, man - you just watched propaganda that was specifically produced to affect the feelings you sucumbed too ... Michael Moores version of TRUTH!

:winkwink:

BTW - I haven't seen the movie

LOL

CET 10-09-2004 12:11 AM

Moore uses half truths, misrepresentations and lies to make most all of his points. Anyone who turns to that propogandist for an education should not be voting.

The Bush family has connections to the Saudi royal family, therefore they have a connection to the Bin Laden family. Therfore the Bush family had something to do with 9/11 so that they could steal a bunch of oil for their buddies in Texas.

Anyone who believes this conspiracy theory BS needs to wear a tin foil hat so that the rest of us can identify them easily so as to save our breaths by not talking to them.

Now, go read your news from a whole bunch of different sources and thing about it yourself without anyone else's help. If you come up with this shit by yourself, then you were a looney anway.

if i was an american I'd be a democrat and i HATED that film. i found it to be HUGLY biast - untruthful, and soo ultra propaganda that it made me sick. it dragged on and on in the middle too - very boring listing to the same mother WHINE on and on about her dead son. booo ho ho ho - guess what mommy -you kid was too fucking dumb to be able to find any other employment than the army - guess what - he's GOING to get shot at. duuuu some will get killed. just a fact. i didn't see micheal filming the thousands of young families the army supports with a good income.

i'm NOT a bush supporter but he def deserves more credit than that film gives him. He is the ruler of the free world after all - fixed election or not, that requires more then one or two brain cells rattling around up there on his shoulders. - ewww - i just got a shudder down my spine - i stood up for bush.... that felt WEIRD..

thats what i initially thought when i first decided to watch it. but the facts are facts. it doesn't take spielberg putting it together to tie these knots.

you gotta see it dog. i have a very strong brain politically. not a bandwagonner. i think both candidates are idiots. i ignored the editing. the facts cannot be edited. they can be edited in a timeline for effect i guess, but if moore got this lucky with all these facts, that dude should be buying lottery tickets.

I totally hear you, and I'm not bashing you at all, brotha!

I'm going to watch it next week when I get back from Vegas for sure.

Seriously though, before even seeing it - I know what Moore's agenda is so it's hard to take this "mockumentery" at face value.

Drake 10-09-2004 12:36 AM

put michael moore in the back of your mind and just watch it
even with what you already know, you know you're not getting the whole story or anything close to it

cspdinc 10-09-2004 01:04 AM

my family was friends of ronny raygun and My uncle personally traveled on trips with henry kissenger.

The oil connections are 100% true, in fact they run even deeper than it was shown. The US is posturing to control all the oil in the world when the sauds run out in 42 years, and the Sauds know that and are preparing in like.

Moores a idiot but the truth was in there in bits and pieces.

Isn't it funny how no repubs have ever been able to point out where the fat fuck lied? They just bitch and complain about how unpatriotic he is for pointing out that conservatives have their heads buried deep in their asses.

DOesn't matter. If it turns out that Bush was cloned from Hitler's DNA in a fucking jungle somewhere half the population of this country is stupid enough to vote for him.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-09-2004 01:15 AM

I not seen it yet actually.

cspdinc 10-09-2004 01:16 AM

ronny raygun= ronald reagan.

My dad used to have lunch with him when ronnie was in office. I remember lots of black cars all the time. I really didnt give a darn about politics. I was working defense with a clearence and could do what ever I wanted where ever I wanted.

now im just hiding out till I figure out what to do with my life as I burned a lot of bridges back home.

Drake 10-09-2004 01:18 AM

It's a film worth watching and making up your mind about it. Whether you think it's accurate or transparent propaganda tool, it does make you ask some serious questions.

56 eh? that's a small fraction of the number of bullshit lines bush jams down your throat on a consistant basis.

i'll tell you what, start compiling a list and counting all the lies bush and his admin have told us in the last 4 years.

start countring bro. it's gonna take a while.

and i don't think michael moore has ever mislead us into war.

i could be wrong, i'll have to check on that though. :winkwink:
