Ok, so we are in the airport surrounded by a mix of races as is normal in general public awaiting our journey back to NY with my partners in crime. Vega Brothers, NY_Tim, Tonitek etc.

Mike say's to me, "hey, gimme half of that sandwich" with which I reply, "Get your own, nigga".

Now, I see nothing wrong with it. It has become part of our language and had no racial overtone...however I caught slack all the home.

All depends on the crew you are with, if everyone is cool with you then you probably can say it and people will "let you slide" In a new group you take your chances, someone might start shit just to do it.
