I dont know whats scarier that you said get a hitman or that you know how much it costs.

Get advice from a lawyer. If you can afford it, get another place to stay with your child. Don't leave without your child but make sure you have what it takes to make it comfortable and have everything the child needs. If you can't get your own place, ask him nicely to leave, if he doesn't, call the police and make sure you have spoken with a lawyer to know your rights & have your parents or a sibling move in for a little while as a means of protection.

Depends. Is this just a problem between you and him? Or are you afraid for the safety of your kid?
If theres any chance of the kid being harmed, take them and run. Do whatever it takes.
If its just a problem with you and your b/f, then try to come to a reasonable solution. Either through talking, or through a lawyer.

WHATEVER you do, don't involve the child in this if it is not about their being in harm's way. Don't let the child be hit by this by saying his/her dad is a piece of shit or whatever. I see a LOT of parents doing this and talking to the children about what a deadbeat the other parent is and it makes me sick. If the child is in harm's way, that's another thing entirely, but if YOU just aren't happy with him, make damn sure the child and dad still have a chance at a good relationship. Maybe that's what he is afraid of and why he hasn't left, he might just want to be in his child's life......

Staying together for the child isn't good either though..... just make sure he knows (providing he is a good dad) that he will always be in the child's life, and maybe that will help him go.
