tick tock goes the FBI clock: the big one is almost upon us

no news is good news for democrats.

but the convention is only weeks away. Will the FBI finish its investigation before delegates start voting?

this is like california earthquake. all stats point to a big rupture coming. just a question of when...

hey rochard, OJ never did it because 12 jurists said so. right? :1orglaugh

Joshua G 06-28-2016 10:14 AM

the longer this goes, the more likely trump wins. why? because there will not be time to change the candidate once we get into the fall. Dems need the FBI to move TODAY. because whats coming out of the FBI will be 5000x worse than the state dept report, which was not good. the FBI one comes with charges.

why you leftists are not in panic mode, i guess you are totally bamboozled that the FBI is investigating nothing, for no reason.

:upsidedow

Hannes 06-28-2016 10:19 AM

only so much can go on before someone will get bust.

Joshua G 06-28-2016 10:24 AM

my bet is that aides get indicted, hilary walks. but it will make for a feisty convention since sanders never ended his campaign. thats big.

the most likely scenario is that it hurts dems turnout. the vladmir zhirnovsky of the USA is going to be president.

Lulz. :1orglaugh

My bet is in 6 months you'll be on here whining that your mom is kicking you out of the trailer cause Trump didn't pay you the $2 a day he promised for posting whacked out shit.

Bengazi investigation number ten just wrapped up and.... Another seven million dollars just went up in smoke to prove that Clinton did nothing wrong with Bengazi.

I am watching Trump's speech right now on CNN. It's comical. He is talking imposing a 100% tariff on all products coming from Asia. It will great when the cost of our cell phones triple in price.

I hope he wins. It make life so entertaining.

yes. its also true, the FBI never investigated benghazi. no crimes. i tend to agree with liberal critics that its more of a bureaucratic fiasco that does not reach clintons level.

but your conflating the nothing of benghazi with an unsecure server, that was in fact kept secret, & is in fact still be investigated...

i struggle to see a hilary indictment since obama implicitly endorsed the situation by emailing her server. But aides are in the crosshairs & a lot of smut is destined to come out of the final report.

fodder for keeping hilarys negatives on the front pages, all year long.

The FBI will bring a series of recommendations to the Justice Department, where experts will decide which of the arcane and highly obtuse offense codes they'll take, and what action they'll take on them. Unless they are unambiguous, which I very much doubt, the republican press will say they are a "clear clarion call for indictment of this felonious scoff-law!" and the democrat press will characterize as "another expensive mish-mash of poorly supported, vague accusations with no clear indication of any wrong-doing - Nominee Clinton is finally vindicated!" But still strong bet she does not get indicted, Donald Trump goes from 12 down to 5 down, and sad sack socialist Bernie Sanders will finally be put back into the mothballs he came out of.

dyna mo 06-28-2016 03:05 PM

I don't see there being any interpretation of the FBI recommendations, they recommend to indict or not.

Nope. They present the facts as they see them, and their counterparts at Justice choose what action to take. It would be seen as a clear and willful violation of the chain of command and the process for the FBI to put a spin on it unless they think they have a very strong case. If it is unambiguous, it will be a series of offense codes with facts related to each of them. JD will then decide which of the offense codes to turn into an indictment. They may choose to study the findings first, if the findings have any ambiguities. The study could take 6 months. Then in 6 months would cease to exist.

DavieVegas 06-28-2016 03:41 PM

Clinton was given a free pass found innocent and they said she did nothing wrong. Obama called off the dogs guaranteed.

No. The FBI doesn't spin shit. They're tasked with investigating alleged criminal conduct and then making a recommendation of indictment or not based on that investigation. It has nothing to do with political parties.

Also, take into consideration that the primaries STILL did not have ALL the voters go to the polls. I didnt go. Many are not gonna wait in lines to vote for a primary. When it counts, you will see that # of voters double if not triple by republican voters. They should stop doing polls. They are garbage

I don't think she will face indictment. If there was enough evidence to prosecute her, wouldn't they have began proceedings already? Why would a democratic president leaving office shoot is party in the foot on his way out the door by bringing criminal charges to his preferred successor?

Not sure what you are referring to I never mentioned political parties in the post you quote. The JD is who will handle the case. And the FBI just brings possible charges and evidence. That is their "recommendation". However, the case is obviously seen as politically charged, of course.

Thats not true. There was a article saying Obama told the head of the FBI to STOP persuing Hillary for indictment. He should be put in jail for this but nothing will happen to him.

I believe it will be highly unlikely there will be any charges. With these kinds of charges you have to look at intention and damage. The intention was good, and there was no damage.

Let's rethink this and use another example. There was a Navy tech on US sub who worked on the nuclear reactor. She took pictures of the nuclear reactor with digital camera. Everything with nuclear reactors on submarines are highly classified, so she was charged and convicted. They looked at intent and damage. If her job was to take pictures of nuclear reactors to make manuals, then the intention would have been good. However, in this case, there was no reason to take the pictures so the intentions was questionable. There was no damages, and thus she got a light sentence.

With Clinton, her intention was to do her job and there was no damage. Did she break the law? Most likely yes. There was over fifty thousand emails involved during her time at the state department; There is no way every time an email was sent they stopped everything and called in the CIA and the Justice Department to review every email when it was sent out.

I hope.... She is found guilty and gets fined or whatever. By then she will most likely be in the White House, and she will order the FBI to investigate Congress and their use of email to see if it's broken any laws. Let's take a good look at everything Congress is sending out via email and see what dirt shakes loose. LOL.

It's funny when conservatives post news articles from the places they frequent for information, ironically to bolster their arguments with something they believe to be facts.

They don't care about facts, they only care about what they want to hear.. This is why fox news is so popular, it spoon feeds them exactly what they want to hear.

Excited to see how this plays out, honestly

ilnjscb 06-30-2016 09:52 AM

It probably plays out as Monsieur Snowden said - Clinton will owe a favor to Obama and will play nice. Lynch is a complete loyalist.

Regardless, you or I would be sitting in jail right now. But that is cause we're little people.

Look at Strauss-Kahn. There is actually real unambiguous evidence against him for rape, corruption, perjury. Yet he did exactly 24 hours of jail time.

Collin Powell was Secretary of state before Clinton.

Collin Powell used AOL for ALL of his official, and private, email communications through the whole Iraq war.

Collin Powell provided ZERO copies of ANY communications to the state department, ZERO. All records of that time are gone.

The FBI never investigated or charged Collin Powell with a crime. If they charge Hillary, they'll have to go back and charge Powell, and investigate Condoleeza Rice, as she used private email as well.

Its all drama to bring Clintons favorability numbers down, like the two year long $7 million Benghazi investigation that came up with ZERO.
