Did you try the 2 speed on the beast?
|

http://www.gpwallpaper.com/wp-conten...ancouver-6.jpg The bike I built has a coaster brake inside the rear hub. It's more of a beach cruiser imho: http://www.ruff-cycles.com/downloads..._2560x1440.jpg |
Nice look. I like the old chevy behind it too. :thumbsup
|
What is the point of such construction? What are advantages lets say against a hybrid bike?

Actually it was easier than I had imagined. The tire fit on relatively easy, it the inner tube that requires some "massaging" to fit snug. Here's a picture of how the that tire fits on a normal 2.175 inch rim: http://www.chopperdome.com/media/cat.../image_468.jpg And here's how it looks stretched out on my 4 inch rim. http://lazonaimagery.com/main/bike/tango_04.jpg |
nice bike.. nicer flat bed

The frame so close to the ground makes zero sense to me unless you are going to ride it in your hallway only.
|
sweeet ride, how long did it take you to build?
|
Speedbumps are not your friend.

cool bike would love to see hot ass bikini riding it
|
too much slack in the chain, tighten that up bud.
|
Sick ride, scared I'd eat shit going over a speed bump though.
|
If you can't do 100 mph on it, I don't see the use! LOL

Personally I enjoy the two-speed gearing as well as the seating position with the feet forward design. The rest of the bike is for show. |
You need to take you bike down to Hermosa Beach and ride down the strand on a weekend.
Strand:A paved path, called The Strand, runs along Hermosa's beach from Torrance Beach in the south approximately twenty miles north to Santa Monica and the Hermosa Beach pier is at the end of Pier Avenue, which is one of the beach community's main shopping, eating and partying areas.) http://www.ytravelblog.com/wp-conten...trand-LA-L.jpg |
Amazing, this is inspiring me to build my own cruiser.
