Friends and I were talking about this last night. What is the shortest amount of time a date has ever lasted for you? For me it was about 5-7 minutes.
I was set up on a blind date via a co-worker. I showed up at her house, picked her up and we got in my car to head to dinner. At the time I was about 32 and she was about 35. As we drive down the street we come to a stoplight. A couple of guys walk across the street in front of us and one of them glances over and looks at us. He does nothing odd, just glances at us. She loses her shit. She rolls down the window and starts screaming at him to stop "eye-fucking" us. When he gives her a strange look she starts yelling that she is affiliated with some gang (I can't remember the name of it now) and she will have his ass beat down for looking at her like that.
The light turns green and we start driving. She rolls up the window, looks at me, and smiles, proud of herself. Then she says, "I'm gonna get you in trouble tonight."
At the next light I turned around and started driving back to her place. When she asked what I was doing I told her I was taking her home, this clearly wasn't going to work. When she wanted to know why I said, "If you are in your mid-30's and actually affiliated with a gang, that's pathetic and I don't want any part of it. If you are not and you are just saying that because you think it will impress me, I don't want any part of that. I'm not going to get in a fight with some stranger because you decide to scream at people walking down the street."
She told me I was a bitch. I got to her place, she got out and I drove home.
