I finally got my tri-tip smoking sorted out ...

Mutt 05-23-2014 05:23 PM

you aren't a beef jerky fan? LA is where I discovered beef jerky at 12 years old - it took another 20 years for it to get up here. most of the jerky up here is not good.

~Ray 05-23-2014 05:35 PM

pad thai, extra peanuts

Spunky 05-23-2014 05:40 PM

Shrimp, lobster, crab.

druid66 05-23-2014 06:53 PM

stuffed cabbage leaf
with rice and various meats inside (a bit of kielbasa, minced meat, bacon - basically leftovers).
not expensive or fancy food but to make it proper tooks over half a day preparing and boiling/baking.

Sashimi screw the rice.

try this sometime

1 ripe avacodo slice and chop it, set aside

1/2 lb sashimi grade bluefin tuna (ahi) sliced and chopped

to the tuna add about 1 tsp sesame oil. 1 tblsp green onion tops (finely chopped), 1 tsp garlic paste mix well and set aside

fry 8-10 won ton wrappers until golden brown set on paper towels and lightly salt

take 2, 8-12 ounce glasses with straight sides (no curves) and rub the insides with sesame oil. lightly pack pack half the tuna mixture into each glass then lightly pack the avacodo on top of the tuna mixture

turn the glasses over onto 2 salad plates

drizzle with aji pon (lemon soy sauce) and top off with fresh grated ginger (about a teaspoon)

fried wonton chips on the side

its easy, incredibly delicious and itll get ya laid ;)

martinsc 05-24-2014 10:25 AM

totally forgot about pizza.... I would always prefer a steak over pizza, but you can't be eating steak every day, right? :):)

fitzmulti 05-24-2014 10:34 AM

Ask me that 2 1/2 years ago...and you would have gotten a totally different answer, with regard to favorite as far as frequency.
Deep down, it's pizza...but I probably do that about 1/6 of the frequency now, if that.

mamaliga 05-24-2014 10:37 AM

pizza and burgers as well
