I think it's over-designed and too loud. The colors overpower her.

For once you have said something i can agree with. On its own i feel its too much.As a stand alone blog I wouldn't have gone that far. But when you see it in conjuction with the main site design.. it all works together wonderfully.

As for my weight/height ratio. IM 62kg and 174 cm. So yeah in talent terms... im a beamoth. i agree with that.

Pretty sure the power up mushroom is copyrighted: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Supermushroom.png

I have actually gotten a c&d from Nintendo for as little as text on a page, not sure that they would approve of the use of their copyrighted imagery in the background of a porn site.

Not like I would report Mutt, just saying.

Where should this "piracy" of image content be reported?

Operation gimme-lulz successful.

gimme-website 06-13-2012 03:59 PM

Close resemblance does not infringe copywrite law. If I had lifted them directly then you would have a valid point. However they were created by me. They are my versions of a ghost, , my versions of a mushroom hat. They are not direct copies. They were not lifted or traced or outlined or grabbed in anyway. They came from my head, to create a 90's gamer feel. They may look familular.. but they are not nintendo creations or influenced by nintendo products. They are an homage to an era...

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and email Nintendo, see what their lawyers have to say about that?

My whole point is you brought all this upon yourself by emailing theme and plugin companies about a perceived misuse of their intellectual property. Meanwhile you have been appropriating the work of others for your own benefit, notice any similarities there pot?

Using the word "many" about people on GFY is a bit funny.... knowing most of you losers can't afford to pay for a good designer anyway.

For what it's worth, gimme-website is prolly not gonna get sued over Nyan Cat: :upsidedow

Quote:

Is Nyan Cat copyrighted?
Quote:

Nyan Cat is eligible for copyright protection, but it seems the creator (Chris Torres, AKA PRguitarman) has not taken any steps to prevent its use by others.

On the other hand, the phrase "Nyan Cat" has been registered as a trademark, notably not by Chris Torres, for "Entertainment services, namely, providing a web site featuring photographic, audio, video and prose presentations featuring animated NYAN CAT character with music and effects."
Not good when designers plagiarize to the point that their design is indistinguishable from copyrighted work. Not much original or creative in doing that, imho. :2 cents:

Nice looking site but I'm not sure I like the font used on the menu bar even though it does look good when it's used for "Welcome Boys".
Did you try using the one used for "My Photosets" on the menu bar?

Nice one. So original that it is the exact same dimensions minus some anti-aliasing, with the exact same pixel layout. The ONLY difference is the mushroom pattern and some facial shading on the mushroom.

What other bullshit do you want us to believe?

What a shame I thought I was going to find a few decent designers for some projects in this thread.

Then again I also thought "Now that a certain webdesign company is out of the picture for many" was talking about Bruno leaving Dickmans... so what do I know.

Maybe you're not fully understanding. You did not make that mushroom from your head, from scratch. You stole it, maybe changed it slightly then used it in your clients work.

Do you understand the sheer odds that YOU would come up with the EXACT same pixel layout as the icon that I posted? Astronomical odds.

How fucking stupid are you to think that any of us are that stupid to believe that horse shit?

Maybe next you'll try to convince us that iconarchive.com stole it from you?

Fuck off fatty.

P.S. Look at my new avatar. The cock is mine. The fatty is you. Get the picture? Suck it, bitch.

LOL, you 'created' them...

And yet you have the audacity to falsely accuse, slander and libel against fris for piracy, money laundering and whatever else I may have missed...

This is too funny.

I have half a mind to send Nintendo an email and see if they believe that you 'created' them... Sorry Mutt, nothing against you, this megalomaniac brought it on herself...

Only on gfy can someone use the word 'created' in place of 'stole'. Classic.

pwnage level = maximum

:)

isolating the stolen image makes it even more obvious

Stolen image

Original, copyrighted image

FWIW, I'd admit you stole it, and do a new background for free for your client before you get sued by the big N, who are rather well not for being litigious.
