What Would You Do?
Ok once again I need a little advice and IMO GFY is the best place for that so here we go....
I have been going out with this guy for about 7 months, well the last two weeks I haven't seen him and have only talked to him on the phone like every other day and that was fine. So I text him on Saturday as I made a huge dish of lasagna the text read "I would like you 2 try something I have." Well his son picks his phone up and reads it. That I don't get do your kids read your text messages? Well then I talk to him on Sunday and he tells me this has to stop that he can't believe I texted him that and his son read it. I ask why is your son reading your text messages and he said cuz it was sitting on the sofa. I then ask him if I should delete his number and he said "Yea I think you should." I hang up and delete the number from my phone, I'm kinda pissed off about the whole thing cuz is that something that would make you wanta break up with someone? I don't know whats going on but I'm a little pissed. Would you let your kid read your texts? I think it's kinda fucked up myself. |
As always... I would simply do a poo...
|
Sounds like he was already trying to leave you..
|
You should have said, "Well I was going to let you put it in my ass because I think we've reached that point in our relationship. But now I'll let someone else do it."
* click * |
Yep it sounds like he already made his mind up to finish the relationship before the text was sent, that?s why he was not been in contact for two weeks. It seems as though the text message gave him an excuse to finish it. Maybe the son simply picked up the phone and read the SMS without the father knowing, I guess it depends on how old the son is.

Next year you can date his son when he turns 18.
Yeah yeah, I'm not helping anything here. |

Your text sounded totally innocuous, and he didn't tell you not to text. Hmmm... Sorry TA, but if I had to guess, I would say that it sounds like Junior told Mommy (or the other GF), and Daddy is just trying to cover his ass by breaking things off, since he got caught. EDIT: Didn't see your other post. Make him come crawling back, or move on in that case. ADG |
Those are all excuses. Might be true but excuses none-the-less. Dude just isn't into you. Freaking out about something that's completely innocent and sticking to your freak-out is within the first 3 chapters of "How To Not Seem Like The Bad-Guy" by men everywhere.
I've done that before. Girl I'm dating will do something totally stupid and I'll go on the moral offensive about how that's so wrong and terrible and I can't be any part of it. You feel like the jackass and he doesn't have to talk to you anymore. |

communication helps. if not, he's good to go. :2 cents:
|
you got dumped. just cruise for some meth head on craigslist and move on.
|
It seems he's having some troubles and if your relationship is worth it, try to help him out. Either that or he was anyway planning to end the relationship. :2 cents:

I don't get why he's letting his son run his life as the man surly didn't mind fucking me for hours on end. |
thanks for the insight into the female brain however. nice to know a man can still fuck off for a few weeks then pop in for a blowjob and lasagna one night.

It was the 2 in the text that did it.
|
Forget about kids reading texts, why was he so sensitive over what you said in the text? Were you trying to give off sexual innuendo or did you just mistakenly put "something I have" vs "something I cooked"?

sounds like a bullshit excuse to get rid of you. people like that are cowards.
|
That's not the reason i would brake up...
not seein you for 2 weeks is what would worry me... and that reason is just lame..he could came up with something better... |

TurbooAngel getting a TurboMan response. Move on :)
No, my kids don't read my text messages. |
how could anyone could read your own text messages is beyond me. That son would get a slap if he read my messages. But it would not happen as that is absolutely impolite. I could not do that to anyone (read his/her texts)
