Well there's your problem. Seriously, I hope things work out for you, with this guy or the next. Probably the next guy, as it doesn't sound like this guy is actually fully available.

So what advice is it you're after then? Holy shit, no wonder the guy wanted a get-out, you've fried my brain in the space of 1 thread...

Didn't mean to fry you brain. I asked him if he wanted me to delete his number and he said yes so I hung up on him and deleted his number.

O MARINA 09-12-2011 09:11 AM

There is only one thing that comes to mind, He is just not that into you.
I mean you could have said hey what's up how was your day and he probably would have freaked. He doesn't sound very stable, who says this shit after 7 months.

Also text's are misunderstood sometimes in these situations. He should have called you.

thanks for the insight into the female brain however. nice to know a man can still fuck off for a few weeks then pop in for a blowjob and lasagna one night.

Don't hate

He is the only one who sounds like he would give a real man's perspective

He was married for 20 years before she passed.

So his parents were married for 20 years, only a few months after his mom died his dad was knocking on your door. It seems pretty clear to me why the kid doesn't like you.

The son doesn't like me cuz his mom died (sometime last November) and he wants his dad to be miserable.

just move on...

the second you act like you need to depend on someone else, or that you are not good enough to "get laid with someone else", then you are fucked...

move on, there are millions of single people out there.

JamesGw 09-12-2011 10:26 AM

Married for 20 years? The guy has to be 40+ or at least close. It's funny how grown-ass adults can still act like children sometimes.

Fuck 'em. (not literally)

Indeed. I mean, this cunt was married 20 years, saw his wife battle cancer for 4 years, lose, die, and a massive 10 months later he is behaving totally irrationally. Makes the mind boggle doesn't it.

Monique Niccole 09-12-2011 10:39 AM

He was looking for a way to break up with you. Don't call, don't text him. On to the next.

pornguy 09-12-2011 10:40 AM

" "I would like you 2 try something I have." " This was the entire statement???

WTF is wrong with that.

Sounds to me like him and his son watch to much porn.

Forget him and move on.

96ukssob 09-12-2011 10:43 AM

50 what would you do's!

Rochard 09-12-2011 10:54 AM

Yes, kids read our text messages.

Kids tend to use their phone a lot and charge them up enough, and when their cell phones die they grab their parents phones and use them. Yesterday my kid's cell phone died, and she used my cell phone to text her friend - who was using her mom's phone because hers died.

And we are lazy and don't want to get up to see who text us, we have our kids do it. Get used to it.

It was dumb and selfish of him IMO to get into a relationship in the first place, especially if he wasn't done mourning. Doesn't change my opinion whatsoever.

Let me guess, you have yet to go through the emotional explosion of a 10/15/20+ year relationship ending. Rational thought just isn't there for a long time, and *because* it isn't there, you can't make the rational decision of not entering a new relationship because it would be 'dumb and selfish' because he wasn't done mourning.

Some people can think rationally while in distress, while others can't. I guess I lack empathy, not that I care to have any about that particular situation.

Solution: Avoid long-term relationships. My last 4 year stint was enough.

At the time we started to go out I knew she had passed but I didn't have a clue it wasn't that long ago. I found out last month when he said that September was going to be a bad month. His sons best friend hung himself on September 5th then his kids B-Day was 9/11 and his mom passed a month later.

Please don't make it out like I'm the bad guy here as I have told him the whole time that I felt next year would be the year and this year I wasn't going to be looking or pushing him in any way.

I mean 2 weeks ago when he was at the lake house he called and told me we would be taking a trip to Jamaica after graduation.

I find that intolerable I would never look at someones text and would be very irate if someone looked at my phone. I can't stand people who are noise and don't tolerate it in my life. I was with Turboface for 11 years and he NEVER looked/answered my phone, my pocketbook, drawers, or laptop. I found that to be one of his best attributes.

I'm not saying you are the bad guy or that you should even care. I am simply saying, look at it from his perspective. That is why he doesn't like you.

mattz 09-12-2011 01:06 PM

I don't have any kids, but if I did I wouldn't want them reading my txts

AdultEUhost-Sebas 09-12-2011 02:30 PM

Children to read your text messages is not ok! So the relationship was probably not so important for his part .....

That's why I have been taking it slow and told him numerous time next year.

uno 09-12-2011 06:05 PM

What happened to Pat?

KillerK 09-12-2011 06:35 PM

You said something sexual in the text, and I think you meant it or you would just have said I cooked this shit, come eat it.

Doesn't mean he needs to break up because his 17 yr read it, is his 17yr a virgin or what.

The text said.....

I have something for u 2 try.

PiracyPitbull 09-12-2011 06:55 PM

Move on.

campimp 09-12-2011 08:15 PM

he wasnt that into the relationship to begin with, sucks, but maybe lesson learned in the future to avoid guys with possible drama or hangups in their lives at the current time.

Darkhorse 09-12-2011 08:47 PM

So you txt him with "I have something for u 2 try" his son apparently reads it, he gets the shits and dumps you.

Sounds to me like he is the child here. You were only asking him to try the lasagna right? sounds like you are the blessed one here, move on and be happy it ended here I think.

Oh side note. I see his wife passed away, his son wouldn't be nasty to you on purpose as I am sure you know, he would be like this with anyone.

Good luck:)

TurboAngel 09-13-2011 01:50 PM

Ok you all were right as I talked to him and he told me he wasn't ready for a relationship don't know why he waited 7 months to tell me this but that's what he said.

porno jew 09-13-2011 01:58 PM

at least you have that whole lasagna to yourself now.

DarkJedi 09-13-2011 02:04 PM

I hang up and delete the number from my phone, I'm kinda pissed off about the whole thing cuz is that something that would make you wanta break up with someone? I don't know whats going on but I'm a little pissed.

Wild guess here but did you sleep with him during this time? if so there is the answer you are looking for...

Intrinsic 09-13-2011 07:06 PM

I think you should stalk him constantly until he takes you back

L-Pink 09-13-2011 07:16 PM

If that's all it took the end was coming anyway. Move on, sounds like upgrading will be easy.
