Seeing as epassporte closed up shop, for the 99% of people that don't have screenshots or any kind of proof of their epassporte statements, what are they to do in terms of proof when Michael O is busy supervising the burning of the last hard drives/epassporte databases?

Well if you don't have screenshots your shit out of luck to be honest with you. The only way to enforce a action and legally retrieve epassporte databases is to get a court order to do this. You can't get a court order to do this until you have a pending lawsuit. Discovery can't be inititiated without a pending law suit.

Thinking it over, your wallet balance was available for a good while after this catastrophe happened, right? Hopefully people were smart enough to at least take a screenshot.

Overall though, not sure if epass is required to keep those kinds of records on hand, or if a screenshot is admissible in court.

Your first step should be to try to get an injunction and stop Chris Mallick from producing another failed movie. Once it gone it very hard to collect.

Its shocking to watch the site grow with the amounts people lost.

I can't give legal advice, but whenever I have been in court and someone tried to submit a picture as evidence, the picture was not allowed into evidence unless the actual photographer was present and could tesitify that yes he was the person who took this picture.

But yes I have my screenshots before the site was taken down, actually PPK made a script years ago that we used to spider all the emails and dump the info into my accounting script.

It shouldn't be surprise if it hit one million.

Well I have been told that the minimum damages for a federal lawsuit is 75k and that the primary petitioner needs to be in the US with a loss of 75k or more, but anyone from any country can be a co-petitioner.

Sounds good, I made this page so attorneys can see in real time the numbers that are involved here. From there we can get some sort of idea of costs involved in pursuing this. The more involved the less per preson would be needed. Would be nice to get it to below 5% of what each person is owed.

if you file a lawsuit you will tie up the funds for years, which is not good for anyone. not mean to be rude, but your $7k is just a drop comparing to money people get in their wallets... i'm sure 50% of people posting here would hate you after this and don't say i didn't tell you.

further, you should at least wait until after Oct 18, which the date by which epassporte has said it would advise on how the wallet funds will be handled. once a lawsuit is is fled, epass no longer has to work with or talk to anyone but their lawyers, which will put all the remaining funds on hold until the outcome of the lawsuit is decided.
