its about time this issue gets some mainstream attention. I wonder if bottled water is floridated?

Most of it is, but some smart companies are jumping on the non fluoridated water wagon. There is even non fluoridated toothpaste hitting the shelves.

damn, i thought i was ahead of the game drinking bottled water instead of the city's tap water. i've never really drank tap water..drank well water when living with my parents, then bottled since i've moved out. guess i will have to try and find these smart companies.

The tap water here varies between tasting like it came out of a fish pond and stinking of chlorine. Bottled water for me.

i was checking out a few of the bottled waters i have been drinking. one lists .02 ppm, another .07 ppm. it seems there are a number that are floride free but no idea if they sell in canada or not and they probably aren't cheap.

i guess no one got my dr strangelove reference, too bad. great scene in the movie.

either way, it's weird how bad flouride is for us yet we are living longer than ever before.

in all seriousness though, fluoridation has been going on for decades, wouldn't there be some sort of causal connection made by now? cancer, heart attacks, gum disease, homosexuality, something? billions of people over 50 years- no connections. leads me to believe it's a non-issue.

There is scientist out there that are saying that there is connection to increased bone cancer, arthritis, Alzheimer.

Dentist make a lot of money with it. They wouldn't offer it to you if they didn't. The dental industry is big business.

$3 dollar bottle of fluoride, let's even say 2 bottles per customer. Every one of them. How many customers do you suppose they can see in a day? 6? 10?

versus one crown + root canal = $3500

She also sells mouthwash and toothbrushes, but I doubt that's her cash cow either.

This is all besides the point. I'm not talking about how much fluoride a single dentist office can sell by it's self. Think of the bigger picture. Doesn't matter, the fact is fluoride is not meant to be ingested. It's one of the most toxic ionic molecules there is. Read up on this stuff. NOT GOOD FOR YOU!

All things in moderation. Did you know you can die from drinking too much water? Also milk. Also Drano. Fluoride is way down at the very bottom of my list of shit to be worried about killing me. I polluted my lungs for 27 years with cigarettes. I drown my liver for 26 years in a nice Tequila bath. I've been stabbed, beaten, held at gunpoint, and survived combat. I've been injected with the military's finest unknown chemicals. There's an accident waiting right out on the street in front of my house. Mr. Heart Attack and Mrs. Stroke are waiting just around the corner for everyone.

If fluoride is what's keeping you up at night and driving you to take action & protest something, you've clearly got one glorious worry-free life. I envy you.

i applaud critical thinking, i do. i think more people need to do it more often. but there comes a time when the critical thought process needs to be applied to one's self so as to choose your battles carefully.

fact is, a fluoridation conspiracy is one of those times. because-

1. fluoridation of publci drinking water will continue for a long time
2. there is zero proof that it's a public health concern, let alone a plot to dumb down the masses and have them (us) think toxic waste is good for us, mmmmmmmm.
3. by advocating consuming bottled water instead you are replacing an action with a much much worse one.
